The wood squircle frames the stone and the open base casts a warm downward glow. Three proportions from a wide ⌀8.7″ disc to a tall ⌀5.5″ cylinder. E27 base, bulb included. About natural travertine
Each drum is hand-cut from natural travertine. Open pores, surface pitting, and color banding vary piece to piece — these are core characteristics of the stone, not defects or damage. No two drums are identical.
About the walnut plate
The squircle top plate is real walnut wood — grain pattern and tone vary by piece, and the photograph shows a representative sample.

- Hardwired ceiling install — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- The braided cord shortens on-site; over a table or island, hang the shade so its base sits 30–36″ above the surface.
- The E27 bulb is included and replaceable; a 2700K warm-white E27 LED gives the warmest glow. On the wide size the globe bulb sits slightly proud of the base — use a soft round LED for the cleanest look.
- Dimmable with a compatible dimmable E27 bulb and a wall dimmer (not included).
- Travertine is a porous natural stone — open pores, surface pitting, and color banding are core characteristics of the material, not flaws or damage. No two drums are identical.
- The walnut plate is real wood — grain and tone vary by piece. Indoor dry locations only (IP20); keep clear of direct water, as stone and wood both absorb moisture.
How is this different from the other travertine pendants?
The squircle wood plate. This pendant pairs a smooth travertine drum with a rounded-square walnut top plate — a flat framing detail no other travertine pendant has. The Ribbed is a horizontal-ribbed cylinder on a round holder; the Sliced Globe is a cut sphere; the Hourglass is two stacked bowls. Pick Squircle for a soft architectural, framed look.
Which size should I choose?
All three share the squircle plate; only the stone drum changes. The Wide ⌀8.7″ reads low and lantern-like for a single statement over a small table. The Medium ⌀7.1″ is the everyday all-rounder. The travertine has holes and pits — is that a defect?
No — those are natural to travertine. Open pores, surface pitting, and color banding are core characteristics of the stone, not flaws or shipping damage. Each drum is hand-cut, so no two are exactly alike; that variation is the point of a natural-stone fixture.
What bulb does it use, is it included, and is it dimmable?
One E27 bulb (standard medium base), included. A 2700K warm-white E27 LED gives the warmest glow. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer (sold separately).
Can I install it in a bathroom, and what's the warranty?
Only away from water — it's rated IP20 for indoor dry locations, so keep it clear of shower or tub spray. Travertine is porous and the walnut plate is real wood; both absorb moisture. 2-year warranty on the fixture and wiring; E27 bulbs are standard replaceable parts. A 2700K warm-white E27 LED is included and replaceable. Use a soft round LED on the Wide size for the cleanest look. The fixture is dimmable with a compatible dimmable E27 bulb and wall dimmer (not included).
