Rattan Arch Pendant Lamp — Plug-In, No Hardwiring Needed
A plug-in rattan swag pendant: handwoven natural rattan over a metal frame, finished with a smooth wooden finial. It hangs from a ceiling hook and plugs into any wall outlet — no hardwiring and no electrician — while the open weave scatters light and shadow across the room. An inline on/off switch on the cord makes it easy to turn on and to reposition between rooms. At home over a dining table, kitchen nook, bedroom, or sunroom.

To preserve the natural rattan and wooden elements, this fixture is strictly compatible with LED bulbs only. Traditional incandescent or Edison bulbs generate excessive heat that can dry out, scorch, or pose a fire risk to the organic fibers. Please do not use heat-generating bulbs.

Does this need hardwiring, and can I use it on a sloped ceiling?
No hardwiring. It's a plug-in swag light: screw a hook into the ceiling, hang the pendant, drape the cord to the wall, and plug into a standard outlet — no junction box or electrician. For a sloped or vaulted ceiling, use a swivel swag hook so the pendant still hangs straight.
Why must I only use LED bulbs?
The beautifully woven shade is made from natural rattan and wood. Traditional incandescent bulbs generate significant heat that can dry out, scorch, or pose a fire risk to the fibers. Cool-running LED bulbs ensure absolute safety while providing bright, vibrant light.
Can I use an Edison-style bulb?
Yes, absolutely. You can use Edison-style bulbs to complement the rustic aesthetic, provided they are LED Edison bulbs. Do not use vintage incandescent Edison bulbs.
How do I clean the natural rattan?
To maintain the organic texture, use a dry feather duster, a soft bristle brush, or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment on a low setting. Never use water or liquid chemical cleaners, as they can damage or warp the natural fibers.
Is this fixture dimmable?
Yes. Because it's plug-in, pair a dimmable LED bulb with an inline cord dimmer or a plug-in dimmer module (a dimmable smart plug also works) to soften the light. There's no need to wire in a wall dimmer.

Do I need an electrician to install this pendant?+
No. This is a plug-in swag: screw a ceiling hook into place, hang the pendant, drape the 15 ft cord to a wall outlet, and plug in. No hardwiring, junction box, or electrician needed. An inline on/off switch controls the light.
What size should I choose for my dining table?+
Small (9.1″) suits intimate settings or lower ceilings; Medium (11.8″) works well over standard dining tables; Large (15.7″) creates visual impact over 36″–42″ wide tables. All sizes can be customized in our atelier upon request.
Can I use this on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?+
Yes. Use a swivel swag hook instead of a standard hook to keep the pendant hanging straight and level, regardless of ceiling angle. The 15 ft cord adjusts to accommodate the slope.
