A backlit travertine sculpture — an arched front column set against a capsule-shaped backplate, lit by a hidden glow
Eclipse is built from solid silver-grey travertine cut into two interlocking shapes — an arched cylinder set against a capsule-shaped backplate. A concealed light source between them washes the inner curve in warm amber, turning the lamp into a glowing silhouette. Just 9 cm (3.5″) deep, so it sits flat against walls and shelves like a piece of sculpture.
Compact at 19.8 × 35 cm (7.8″ × 13.8″) — small enough for a nightstand or floating shelf, sculptural enough to anchor a console or mantel. Solid stone gives it real weight; the cool grey tones with warm-glow interior pair beautifully with brushed metal, dark wood, and walnut interiors.

Cut from natural silver-grey travertine — pores and veining are unique to each piece. The cooler grey tones complement walnut, brass, and brushed steel interiors.
Concealed Backlight
A G9 socket sits hidden behind the front column. The light reflects off the inner backplate, glowing through the natural pores of the stone.
9 cm Slim Profile

What size is the Eclipse, and will it fit on my nightstand or console?+
The Eclipse measures 7.8″ W × 13.8″ H × 3.5″ D — compact enough for nightstands and narrow floating shelves. Its slim 3.5″ depth lets it slip behind picture frames or onto tight consoles where deeper lamps won't fit.
What bulb does the Eclipse use, and where do I buy one?+
It uses a G9 two-pin bulb (sold separately). We recommend a 25–40W LED equivalent in warm white (2700–3000K), available at Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowe's. Choose Triac-dimmable for use with a standard wall dimmer.
Why does light glow through the stone itself?+
Natural travertine is porous — formed over millennia in mineral hot springs. The hidden backlight reflects off the inner capsule and bleeds through thousands of tiny pores, creating a soft amber glow. This is a feature of solid stone, not damage.
Can the Eclipse be customized or made in a different size?+
Yes. The Eclipse is handcrafted in our atelier and can be modified — we work with clients on custom sizing and specifications. Contact us to discuss your needs.
How do I clean the travertine surface?+
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. The matte sealed surface protects the stone. Avoid acidic cleaners and prolonged moisture. Each piece's natural veining and pores are unique — variations are part of the material's character.
