A solid travertine column with a tapered cotton-linen shade — built for nightstands, console tables, and library desks
Caldera is a compact transitional table lamp built around a solid travertine base — two stacked stone columns whose natural pores and warm beige veining read differently on every piece. The tapered shade is sewn from a cotton-linen blend that softens the bulb's glow into an even, library-warm pool of light.
Sized for nightstands, console tables, and reading desks at 30 cm x 36 cm tall (about 12 x 14 inches). E26 socket on a plug-in cord — no electrician needed. Bulb sold separately. The travertine base is heavy enough to anchor the lamp securely in everyday use.

What size bulb does Caldera use?+
Caldera takes one E26 (standard medium base) bulb, sold separately. We recommend a 40-60W equivalent LED in 2700-3000K warm white. For dimming, pair a Triac-dimmable LED with a standard Triac wall dimmer.
Will my travertine base look like the photo?+
No. Travertine forms naturally over thousands of years — each piece has unique pore patterns, veining, and tonal shifts. Your stone will carry its own character; most customers find theirs more interesting than studio images.
Can I use this on a small nightstand?+
Yes. At 11.8″ diameter and 14.2″ tall, Caldera fits nightstands, console tables, and reading desks. The solid travertine base is heavy enough to sit securely without tipping.
Does it need an electrician to install?+
No. Caldera is plug-and-play with a 5 ft cord and inline switch. Plug into any standard outlet — no wiring or electrician required. Bulb sold separately.
Why does the cotton-linen shade look creased?+
The shade may show slight packaging creases that relax within a few days of use as the fabric settles. This is normal for a sewn cotton-linen blend and not a defect.
