Alabaster patterns range from pure milky-white to dramatic grey or amber veining. A mostly white piece is a sign of high-purity stone, not a defect. Veining is formed naturally and cannot be controlled. If your project requires specific patterns, contact us before ordering.

J-box coverage — complimentary 12 cm backplate included
The Alvia is approximately 3.9" wide. Standard US and Canadian electrical junction boxes (J-boxes) are typically 4" wide — the fixture may not fully cover the J-box. A complimentary 12 cm diameter backplate is included to cover any exposed gaps. The backplate is entirely optional if you prefer the clean, flush appearance shown in most product photos.

Dimmable version — driver must be placed outside the canopy
For the dimmable version, the thyristor dimming driver or DALI dimmable driver must be placed outside the canopy for optimal performance. Pair with a Triac dimmer switch for smooth, flicker-free brightness control.
Triac Dimmer Switch — recommended for dimmable version
Default color temperature: Warm White (3000K)
All standard orders ship in Warm White (3000K). If you require Neutral White (4000K) or Cool White (6000K), please contact our support team before placing your order.
3000K — Warm, cozy ambiance. 4000K — Balanced neutral white. 6000K — Crisp, bright cool white.
Integrated LED — long lifespan & ongoing light source service
LED light sources are built to last, with an exceptionally long service life under normal use. For added peace of mind, we offer an ongoing light source support service — should your LED ever fail, we will always be able to provide a compatible replacement, ensuring your fixture continues to work for years to come. Is this real alabaster or resin?
Real, genuine alabaster stone — not resin. This gives the fixture premium weight, a cool touch, and a translucence that only natural stone can produce.
My piece looks mostly white with no veining — is this a defect?
No — a mostly milky-white piece indicates high-purity alabaster. Veining is natural and cannot be controlled. Contact us if your project requires a specific pattern.
Will the light cover my J-box?
The base is 3.9" wide — standard US/CA J-boxes are ~4" wide, so the fixture may not fully cover it. A complimentary 12 cm backplate is included. It's optional if you prefer the minimal flush look.
What is required for the dimmable version?
The thyristor or DALI dimmable driver must be placed outside the canopy. A Triac dimmer switch is also recommended for smooth, flicker-free brightness control.

What sizes does the Alvia come in?+
Three sizes: Small L 3.9″ × W 1.9″ × H 11.8″ (7W); Medium L 3.9″ × W 1.9″ × H 17.7″ (10W); Large L 4.7″ × W 2.4″ × H 23.6″ (15W). Each carving is one-of-a-kind with unique natural stone grain.
Will the Alvia cover my electrical junction box?+
The 3.9″ base may not fully cover standard US J-boxes. A complimentary 12 cm backplate is included to cover gaps, though it's optional if you prefer a flush appearance.
Can I dim the Alvia?+
Yes. It ships with Triac dimmable warm light (3000K default). Pair with a Triac dimmer switch for flicker-free brightness control. The dimmable driver must be placed outside the canopy.
Will my piece have natural veining or be pure white?+
Each alabaster fixture is unique—patterns range from milky-white to dramatic grey or amber veining. High-purity white pieces are premium; veining cannot be controlled. Contact us before ordering if you need specific patterns.
How do I clean and maintain the alabaster?+
Alabaster is a natural stone with a cool touch. Dust gently with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals. The integrated LED lasts for years; we offer ongoing replacement light source support if needed.
