Indoor dry location only
The Wink Fringe Pendant Light is rated for indoor dry locations only. Fabric fringes absorb humidity, develop mildew, and can matt or fade in damp air. Do not install in bathrooms, kitchens directly above a sink or stove, screened porches, or any outdoor area. Keep at least 6 ft from steam sources (kettles, dishwashers, showers).
Hanging height for dining and statement display
For dining tables and kitchen islands (Size L), hang the bottom of the fringe curtain 30-36 inches above the surface — the fringes are a focal point and should not block sightlines across the table. For bedside / vanity (Size S), hang 18-24 inches above the nightstand. The 59-inch cable is fully adjustable.
Fringes are detachable for cleaning
The fabric fringes detach from the gold frame for hand washing. Use cold water with a gentle detergent, gently squeeze (do not wring), air-dry flat on a towel. Do not tumble dry — heat damages fringe fibers. Re-attach when fully dry. The gold frame and white glass globe stay mounted on the ceiling during fringe cleaning.
Pair the right bulb — low heat near fringes
Size S uses G9 base, Size L uses E26 or E27 base. Choose LED only — Warm White 2700K, max 5W (Size S G9) or 9W (Size L E26 or E27). LEDs run cool, which is essential near fabric fringes. Never use halogen or incandescent — high heat damages fabric and can scorch fringes.

How do I clean the fringes and gold frame?
Fringes: detach from the gold frame. Hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent. Gently squeeze excess water (do not wring or twist). Air-dry flat on a clean towel. Do not tumble dry, iron, or use heat — heat damages fringe fibers and can shrink the textile. Re-attach when fully dry. Gold frame and glass globe: dust weekly with a soft dry microfiber cloth while the fixture is hardwired in place. For visible smudges on the glass globe, lightly dampen the cloth with water — do not spray cleaner directly onto the fixture. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the gold plating.

Keep at least 6 ft from steam sources. For damp or outdoor spaces, choose a wet- or damp-location fixture.
