Brass ring chandelier with hand-set porcelain ginkgo leaves

A hanging chandelier with white porcelain ginkgo leaves arranged radially around a brass ring. Five sizes span 23.6 to 59.1 inches in diameter, fitting dining rooms, kitchen islands, living rooms, foyers and stairwells with 9 to 14 foot ceilings.

Highlights

Hand-set porcelain leaves

White ceramic ginkgo leaves secured to brass ring with metal interfaces. Slight glue residue is normal and does not affect appearance or function.

Five diameter options

6, 8, 10, 12, or 14 lights spanning 23.6 to 59.1 inches diameter. Flexible brass branches fan out by hand to reach listed span.

E12 or G9 sockets

What materials is this chandelier made from?

A brass ring and flexible brass branches hold hand-set white porcelain ginkgo leaves. Iron hardware secures the assembly. A small amount of glue at metal interfaces is normal for stability during transit and use.

Can this chandelier be dimmed?

Yes. Dimming capability is available. Contact support@vakkerlight.com to add triac dimming during order configuration.

Can I change the cord or drop length?

Yes. Cord and drop length are made to order. Specify your ceiling height and preferred drop when you order, or contact support@vakkerlight.com to adjust an existing order.

Will this work on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?

Yes. A custom canopy is available to support installation on sloped or vaulted ceilings. Contact support@vakkerlight.com with your ceiling pitch or angle.

Does this chandelier work in the US?

Yes. The E12 version ships with US-standard sockets and operates on 110–240V household power. All US orders ship free to all 50 states.

Four Stages of Craft

Each ginkgo leaf passes through four skilled hands before it joins the chandelier. No leaf is identical. Every surface carries the trace of the artisan who made it.

Step 1: Sculpting and carving the ceramic ginkgo leaf form

Sculpting & Carving

Each leaf begins as raw clay. Master sculptors shape the distinctive bilobed ginkgo form by hand, carving the characteristic veins and curvature that give each leaf its living quality.

Mold Making

Precision plaster molds are cast from the master sculpt. Each mold preserves the exact weight, thickness, and surface detail of the original — ensuring every leaf in a commission matches perfectly.

Kiln Firing

Formed leaves are carefully dried then fired in a high-temperature kiln. The ceramic body becomes hard, dense, and uniquely translucent — allowing the warm glow of the light source to soften through each leaf.

Grinding & Polishing

Each fired leaf is ground and hand-polished to a smooth, silk-matte finish. The edges are refined, the surface inspected, and any imperfection addressed — before the leaf is approved and assembled onto the brass armature.
