A wall sconce built around a solid walnut disc — the kind of turned wood shape that looks handmade without trying to prove it. An antique brass stem connects the walnut body to a tall tapered fabric shade above, and a matching brass point drops below, completing the spinning-top silhouette. Available as a single sconce or a double — both plug directly into a standard wall outlet, no electrician required. Choose from three shade colors: White, Forest Green, or Brick Red.
Plug-in — no electrician needed
This sconce plugs directly into any standard wall outlet. An inline on/off switch on the cord lets you control it independently of your room's wall switch. Mount the backplate to the wall with the included hardware, route the cord down to the nearest outlet, and you're done.
Bulbs not included — use any E12 or E14 warm-white LED
Each socket takes an E12 candelabra base (North America) or E14 small screw base (Europe and worldwide). We recommend 25–40 W equivalent warm-white LEDs at 2700–3000 K for the most flattering glow through the fabric shade.
Note on bulb size — E12 vs E14
E12 (candelabra base) is the US standard for small decorative sockets and is available at most hardware stores. E14 (small screw) is the European equivalent — slightly larger, and widely available online. Check your socket before ordering bulbs, or email us to confirm which base your unit ships with.

- Mark your mounting position and secure the wall backplate using the included hardware. For drywall without a stud, use the included anchors.
- Route the cord down the wall to the nearest standard outlet. The inline switch on the cord lets you turn the sconce on and off without touching the wall switch.
- Screw your E12 (US) or E14 (worldwide) bulb into the socket. Do not exceed 40 W equivalent per socket. A flame-tip or torpedo bulb suits the shade silhouette.
- For a cleaner look, use a cord cover strip (available at hardware stores) to conceal the cord along the wall from backplate to outlet.
- Dust the fabric shade with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum. Wipe the walnut disc and brass stem with a dry microfiber cloth — avoid water on the wood and abrasive cleaners on the brass finish.
Does this need an electrician to install?
No — this is a plug-in sconce. Mount the backplate to the wall with the included hardware, route the cord to the nearest outlet, screw in your bulb, and it's ready. The inline switch on the cord gives you on/off control without touching your wall switch. No wiring, no junction box, no electrician needed.
Can I hide the cord?
Yes — the most popular method is a cord cover strip, available at hardware stores for a few dollars. These paintable plastic channels attach to the wall and fully conceal the cord from the backplate down to the outlet. For a cleaner look, position the sconce close to a corner or piece of furniture so the cord drop is less visible.
What is the difference between the 1-head and 2-head versions?
The 1-head (L15 cm) is a single sconce — use it solo on an accent wall, in a reading nook, or on one side of a bed or mirror. The 2-head (L34 cm) mounts two spinning-top sconces on a single shared backplate, sharing one cord and one plug — it works as a bedside pair above a headboard, above a console table, or flanking a mirror. Both versions are the same height (H39 cm) and width (W22 cm).
Do the bulbs come included?

Is it dimmable?
The inline switch is an on/off switch, not a dimmer. For dimming, you would need to plug the sconce into a smart plug with dimming capability, or use a dimmable E12/E14 bulb with a compatible plug-in dimmer adapter. Contact us if you need clarification on dimming options.
Which shade color should I choose?
White is the most versatile — it works with almost any wall color and reads airy in a small space. Forest Green is a rich, moody choice that pairs especially well with warm wood tones, terracotta, or dark-painted walls. Brick Red is the boldest of the three — it adds warmth and energy and works beautifully in a bedroom or living room with a neutral backdrop. All three shades have the same textured fabric and tapered cone form — only the color differs.
