Custom Metal Finishes
Bespoke Metal Finishes Collection
A considered palette of hand-applied metal finishes, created to help your lighting feel fully integrated with the architecture, hardware, and material language of your space.
The Collection
Choose the finish that completes your space.
The finish of a fixture influences far more than color. It changes how the piece reflects light, relates to surrounding materials, and settles into a room over time.
Our standard library spans warm brass, architectural bronze, expressive iron, cool nickel, polished chrome, aged steel, and richly oxidized surfaces. If your project calls for something more specific, contact us to discuss a custom finish or color match.

Bronze
A deep, matte umber with understated warmth and an architectural presence.

Iron
A graphic blackened finish with a restrained matte surface and modern weight.

Antiqued Brass
Heavily aged brass with darkened detail and the character of a collected piece.

Natural Brass
Honest, matte gold with no artificial ageing; designed to warm naturally over time.

Vintage Brass
A deeper, even patina that feels settled, warm, and quietly refined.

Aged Steel
A cool, mottled gray with subtle variation and an elevated industrial character.

Rustic Iron
A coarse, tactile iron surface with primitive warmth and handcrafted depth.

Gilded Iron
Worn gold leaf over iron, balancing artisanal irregularity with restrained opulence.

Satin Nickel
A calm brushed silver with soft reflectivity and a versatile contemporary tone.

Polished Chrome
A cool, clean mirror finish with crisp reflectivity and a distinctly modern edge.

Polished Nickel
A warmer mirror silver with a faint golden cast—soft, timeless, and elegant.

Forged Iron
A hammered, hand-worked surface whose individual marks make every piece unique.

Rust
A richly oxidized amber-brown finish that celebrates organic surface variation.

Lacquered Burnished Brass
A luminous polished gold protected by lacquer to help preserve its brilliance.
Choosing Your Finish
A finish should work with the whole room.
Consider the undertone
Warm metals complement walnut, oak, travertine, cream stone, and warm textiles. Cooler nickel and chrome finishes pair naturally with gray stone, glass, polished plaster, and contemporary interiors.
Choose the reflectivity
Matte and aged finishes feel quiet and architectural. Satin surfaces diffuse reflections. Polished finishes catch surrounding light and create a brighter, more glamorous focal point.
Think beyond matching
Your lighting does not need to duplicate every metal in the room. A considered contrast can feel more intentional—especially when the finish shares a similar undertone or level of sheen.
Hand-applied character
Our finishes are produced by hand. Subtle shifts in tone, brushing, patina, oxidation, and surface texture are expected and form part of the authentic character of the material. These variations should not be considered defects.
Color shown on screen
Screen settings, photography, ambient light, and the shape of each fixture can affect how a finish appears. For projects requiring close coordination, we recommend requesting a physical sample before confirming the final specification.
