A wide-brimmed rattan pendant that draws from the silhouette of a traditional coolie hat — broad, gently curved brim, tapering to a narrow neck, hand-woven from natural rattan reed throughout. The form is immediately legible from across a room: a flat disc of warm natural material hovering above a table or seating area, casting light downward through the open weave and scattering it softly across the room. Available in three diameters from 60 to 100 cm, in natural rattan or black. A 3000K E27 LED bulb is included.
E27 LED bulb included — 3000K warm white
A 3000K warm-white E27 LED bulb is included with every pendant. Hang it, wire it, screw in the bulb, and it's ready to use. Any standard E27 bulb also fits if you prefer a different color temperature.
Hardwired ceiling install
This pendant hardwires to a ceiling junction box. The cord adjusts up to 1.2 m — bundle or trim to your ceiling height during installation. A licensed electrician is recommended. Always turn off power at the breaker before installation.
Hand-Woven Natural Rattan
The entire shade is hand-woven from natural rattan reed — each piece is slightly unique in its weave pattern and warm honey-tan tone.
Wide-Brim Coolie Form
The broad, gently upturned brim — from 60 to 100 cm across — creates an expansive pool of light beneath and a striking silhouette from across the room.

A warm-white E27 LED at 3000K ships in the box — ready to hang and switch on from day one.

The cord adjusts up to 1.2 m — trim or bundle during installation to reach your preferred hanging height cleanly.

Hanging height guide
For dining tables, position the bottom of the brim 70–85 cm (28–33″) above the tabletop. For living areas, hang higher — 180–200 cm from the floor is a good starting point. The 1.2 m cord accommodates most ceiling heights.

The included 3000K warm-white LED is ready to use out of the box. Light passes through the open rattan weave, casting a warm dappled pattern across the ceiling and walls. To dim, swap the included bulb for a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch.

- Switch off power at the breaker before installation. A licensed electrician is recommended for hardwired ceiling connection to the junction box.
- Adjust the cord to your preferred length (maximum 1.2 m) before securing the matte black canopy. For dining tables, position the bottom of the brim 70–85 cm (28–33″) above the tabletop.
- Screw the included E27 3000K LED bulb into the socket and restore power. Any standard E27 bulb fits if you prefer a different output.
- To dim: replace the included bulb with a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch.
- Dust the rattan shade with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum with a brush attachment. Wipe lightly with a barely damp cloth for deeper cleaning — avoid soaking, which can warp the natural rattan over time. Do not place in direct prolonged sunlight, which can bleach and dry out the fiber.
Is a bulb included?
Yes — a 3000K warm-white E27 LED bulb ships with every pendant. Hang the fixture, wire it to the junction box, screw in the bulb, and it's ready. If you prefer a different color temperature or style, any standard E27 base fits the socket.
Which size should I choose?
The S (Ø60 cm) works over a 2–4 person table, a reading chair, or as part of a pair. The M (Ø80 cm) is the most popular single pendant — suited to a 4–6 person dining table or kitchen island. The L (Ø100 cm) suits a 6–8 person table or a large open-plan living area. When in doubt, size up — the open weave makes rattan shades read lighter than solid shades of the same diameter.
What does the light pattern look like?
Light passes through the gaps in the rattan weave and scatters upward and outward, casting a warm dappled pattern across the ceiling and upper walls — similar to sunlight through woven branches. The main pool of light falls directly beneath the pendant. The 3000K included bulb gives a warm amber-white tone that flatters the natural rattan color.
Natural or Black — which should I choose?
Natural rattan in its original honey tone is the warmer, more versatile choice — it works across bohemian, coastal, Japandi, and tropical interiors and pairs naturally with wood, linen, and terracotta. Black gives the same hand-woven form a more graphic, contemporary edge — it contrasts strongly against white or light-colored ceilings and works well in modern, industrial, or maximalist rooms. Both colorways cast the same dappled light pattern when lit.
Is it dimmable?
The included bulb is a standard (non-dimmable) E27 LED. To add dimming, swap it for a Triac-dimmable E27 LED bulb and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch — available at any hardware store.
How do I care for a rattan pendant?
Dust regularly with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum with a brush attachment. For deeper cleaning, wipe lightly with a barely damp cloth and allow to dry fully before switching the light back on. Avoid soaking the rattan — prolonged moisture can soften and warp the natural fiber. Keep out of direct prolonged sunlight, which can bleach and dry the rattan over time.
