A wall sconce that pairs two of the most honest materials in interiors — natural marble and opal glass. A solid marble disc mounts flush to the wall; a frosted glass globe sits half-proud of the stone face, catching and scattering the G9 light source within. The combination is minimal without being cold: the stone's natural veining gives each piece a slightly different character, and the opal globe softens the light into a warm, even glow. Available in Black Marble, Indian Green Marble, and Carrara White.
Hardwired wall install
This sconce hardwires directly to a wall junction box — it is not plug-in. A licensed electrician is recommended. Always turn off power at the breaker before installation.
G9 bulb — sold separately · please read before ordering
This sconce uses a G9 bi-pin base, which is less common in North American hardware stores than E26. G9 LED capsules are widely available online — Amazon, Home Depot's website, and lighting specialty retailers all carry them. Search "G9 LED warm white 3W" or "G9 LED 5W" and you will find plenty of options. We recommend ≤5W at 2700–3000K warm white. Email us if you need sourcing help.

Black Marble

Carrara White Marble

- Switch off power at the breaker before installation. A licensed electrician is recommended for hardwired wall connection to the junction box.
- Mount the marble backplate to the wall over the junction box using the included hardware. The backplate sits flush to the wall surface.
- Insert a G9 LED capsule (sold separately, ≤5W recommended) into the G9 socket. Do not exceed the socket's maximum wattage. For dimming, use a dimmable G9 LED and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch.
- Attach the opal glass globe and restore power. The wall switch controls the sconce.
- Wipe the marble backplate with a dry or barely damp microfiber cloth — avoid acidic cleaners, which can etch natural stone surfaces. Clean the opal glass globe with a dry soft cloth. Do not submerge either component in water.
What is G9, and can I find bulbs in the US?
G9 is a bi-pin bulb base — two small metal pins that push directly into the socket. It is standard in European wall sconces and widely used in compact decorative fittings. G9 LED capsules are less common in US hardware stores than E26, but are readily available online: Amazon, Home Depot's website, and lighting specialty retailers all carry them. Search "G9 LED warm white 3W" or "G9 LED 5W 2700K" for the best results. We recommend ≤5W at 2700–3000K warm white to match the opal globe's diffusion quality.
Is the marble real stone?
Yes — the backplate is natural marble, which means each piece carries unique veining and tonal variation. No two sconces are identical. Because marble is a porous natural material, avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products) on the stone surface — wipe with a dry or barely damp microfiber cloth only. Confirm exact stone type (natural vs. sintered) with us if this matters for your project.
Which marble finish should I choose?
Wood-grain Marble (Travertine) is the warmest — its tan and cream tones suit warm wood-heavy interiors and earth-toned palettes. Indian Green Marble is the boldest choice: the deep forest green with silver veining works as a jewel-toned accent in neutral or dark rooms. Carrara White is the most classic and versatile — fine grey veining on white reads as timeless and works in almost any palette. All three share the same opal glass globe and G9 fitting.
Is it dimmable?
Yes — fit a dimmable G9 LED capsule (check the packaging for "dimmable") and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch. Most modern G9 LED capsules sold as dimmable are Triac-compatible. Avoid using a non-dimmable G9 bulb on a dimmer circuit, which can cause flickering or buzzing.
How is it installed, and does it need an electrician?
This is a hardwired wall sconce — it connects to a wall junction box, which requires switching off power at the breaker and making a standard two-wire connection. If you are comfortable with basic wiring and your local codes allow homeowner installation, the process is straightforward. Otherwise, a licensed electrician can install it in under 30 minutes. The marble backplate mounts flush to the wall with the included hardware.
