A minimalist wall sconce — an opal-glass globe held in a slim metal cradle, with a thin loop arching over the top that turns the frame into a sculptural line drawing. Pick a single globe or a vertical pair; brass or matte black. Soft, even glow from the opal glass; clean modern silhouette when off. For hallways, bedside, study, dining, or quiet living-room walls.

Hand-finished opal glass — slight variation expected
Each opal globe is hand-finished, so wall thickness, milky-white tone, and the way light reads through the glass vary slightly piece to piece — part of the craft, not a defect. Email us for photos of in-stock pieces before ordering, especially if you need a matched pair.
Use an LED bulb only — globe and finish are heat-sensitive
The E14 bulb sits inside the opal globe with limited airflow. Use only an LED bulb up to 40W per socket — incandescent and halogen run hot enough to thermal-stress the glass and yellow the matte spray finish over time. Do not exceed the wattage on the socket label.
- Hardwired wall mount over a standard junction box — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Use E14 candelabra-base bulbs (LED only), max 40W each (or LED equivalent). Bulbs are loaded by lifting the glass globe out of the cradle ring; consult the install guide before opening. Bulbs not included.
- Install in pairs to flank a mirror, doorway, or art; allow 24–30″ between centers for the Single, or 36–42″ for the Double for symmetry.
- Controlled by a standard wall switch (on/off). Not designed for external dimmer compatibility — pair with a standard switched circuit.
- Indoor and dry locations only (IP20). Safe in damp vanity areas away from shower spray; not rated for wet zones.
- The opal glass is hand-finished and can chip at the rim. Lift gently from the cradle for bulb changes; rotate, don't pry. Avoid abrasives on the matte finish — it scuffs.
- Dust the glass with a soft, dry cloth; wipe the frame with a barely-damp microfiber. No solvents on the matte spray finish.
Single or double — which should I pick?
Single (11.4″ × 8.7″) is a compact accent — bedside, narrow hall, beside a doorway, or as a small reading light. Double (13″ × 17.7″) gives a taller vertical statement on a longer wall, in a stairwell, beside a tall mirror, or above a console. Pair two of the same on flanking walls or across a room for symmetry.
Which finish should I pick?
Brass reads warmer and softer — pairs with wood, cream, and classic interiors. Matte black is high-contrast and graphic — modern, gallery-like, works against light walls. Both have the same opal-glass globe, so the light cast is identical; the difference is whether the frame reads quiet or bold.
What bulb does it take?
E14 candelabra-base bulb, max 40W per socket (or LED equivalent), not included — one bulb for Single, two for Double. Use LED only — the opal globe encloses the bulb and traps heat, and incandescent/halogen can crack the glass or yellow the matte spray finish. A warm-white LED gives an even, soft glow.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
In dry or damp areas only — beside a vanity mirror, away from shower or tub spray. The sconce is IP20 (indoor/dry), not waterproof. Confirm your local electrical code before bathroom installation.
Is there a warranty?
2-year warranty on wiring, sockets, and frame finish. Hand-finished opal-glass variation is not a defect; chips, cracks, or yellowing from using an over-spec or non-LED bulb are not covered. Email support with photos within 7 days of delivery for any transit damage.
