A vintage farmhouse candle wall sconce in walnut wood and black iron. Choose Model A — an iron scroll frame with draping wood beads and a teardrop finial — or Model B, a lathe-turned wood candlestick. Each comes in 1-light or 2-light, with exposed E12 or E14 candle bulbs for a warm glow at a bedside, in a hallway or beside a mirror.

Natural wood — tone and grain vary: The walnut tone and grain of the wood parts differ slightly from piece to piece. This is part of the character of natural wood, not a defect.

Here is what most clients ask before choosing theirs.

What is the difference between Model A and Model B?

Model A has an iron scroll frame with draping wood beads and a teardrop finial; Model B is a lathe-turned wood candlestick column. Both are walnut and black, in 1-light or 2-light.

Which size should I choose — 1-light or 2-light?

Choose 1-light for tight spaces or a bedside, and 2-light to flank a mirror or bed. Model A 1-light is W 4.7″ x H 17.7″; Model A 2-light is W 13.8″ x H 17.7″; Model B 1-light is W 7.1″ x H 15.7″; Model B 2-light is W 14.2″ x H 15.7″.

What bulbs do they use?

E12 or E14 candle bulbs: one for the 1-light and two for the 2-light. Warm 3000K LED candle bulbs suit the vintage look and give a warm, ambient accent glow.

How are they installed?

Each hardwires to a standard wall junction box, so a licensed electrician is recommended. Mount about 60–66″ (152–168 cm) from the floor, and space a pair evenly to flank a bed or mirror.
