A tapered travertine wall sconce sculpted from a single block of natural travertine stone. Each shade reveals warm pores and natural cavities — light leaks through them in soft amber flickers, washing the wall above and below. Compact 5.5″ × 3.5″ × 6.5″ profile for hallways, bathroom vanities, bedside walls, and staircase landings. G9 base; pairs with warm LED for Japandi, Mediterranean, or wabi-sabi rooms.
Solid travertine block
Carved from a single piece of natural travertine. Pores, pitting, and color banding vary by piece — each sconce is unique.
Warm light through stone pores
Natural cavities scatter light as soft amber flickers across the wall. Downward beam below, glow through the stone face.
G9 base · dimmable
Standard G9 socket — pair with 3–5W warm LED for the warmest stone glow. Dimmable on a compatible wall dimmer.
Custom stone tone
Natural beige travertine (default). Cream and walnut-toned travertine are also available on request. Each block is hand-selected — email us if you want to specify pore density or color before production.

- Hardwired wall mount — junction box required. Licensed electrician recommended.
- Hallway, bedside, or vanity: mount centered 60–66″ from the floor. Staircase landing: 60–72″ depending on landing height.
- Travertine is a porous natural stone — open cavities, pitting, and color banding are core characteristics of the material, not defects. Each shade is unique.
- For the warmest glow through the stone, use a 3–5W G9 LED in 2700K. Avoid cool-white above 3000K — it flattens the amber tone.
- Wipe dust with a dry soft cloth; do not use wet cleaners on travertine — water and household cleaners can stain the pores.
- Indoor only (IP20). Travertine absorbs moisture and is not rated for bathrooms with direct shower exposure, kitchens above the stove, or any outdoor location.
Are the cavities and pores in the stone defects?
No — they are why customers buy travertine. Open cavities, pitting, and warm color banding are core characteristics of the natural stone, and the light leaking through them is the central design feature. Each block is hand-selected, so no two sconces share the same pore pattern or veining.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors?
Indoor dry/damp only (IP20). Travertine is porous and absorbs moisture, so it's not rated for bathrooms with direct shower exposure, above stoves, or any outdoor location. Vanity walls outside a wet zone and powder rooms are fine.
What bulb should I use? Is it dimmable?
G9 base, max 5W LED recommended. We suggest a 3–5W G9 LED in 2700K warm white — the warm tone reads especially well through the travertine pores. Avoid cool-white (3000K+) which flattens the amber glow. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer.
Where should I mount this sconce?
Hallways, bedside, and vanity walls: centered 60–66″ from the floor. Staircase landings: 60–72″ depending on landing height. The tapered form casts light both forward and downward, so it works well at eye level or slightly above.
How do I clean travertine?
Dry soft cloth only. Do not use water or household cleaners — travertine pores absorb liquid and can stain. For stubborn dust, use a soft-bristle brush. Avoid abrasive cleaners and chemical polishes — they can strip the natural finish.
