A sculptural acoustic pendant light shaped like a straw hat — it softens sound and lights the room at once. The wide-brimmed PET acoustic-felt shade absorbs echo and reverberation while an integrated LED casts focused downward light. Choose Ø50 cm or Ø65 cm in six felt colors — for dining rooms, open-plan offices, meeting rooms, restaurants, and creative studios.
Integrated LED & hardwired install
The LED is built in and not user-replaceable — the whole fixture is the light source. It hardwires to a ceiling box (not plug-in); a licensed electrician is recommended.

- Hardwired ceiling install — switch off power at the breaker first; a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Fix the canopy to a ceiling junction box, then shorten the cords to set your preferred drop height.
- For best sound absorption, hang it over the noisy zone — above a desk cluster, dining table, or meeting area.
- The integrated LED is sealed and not user-replaceable; the whole fixture lights as one unit.
- Dust the PET felt with a soft brush or vacuum on low suction; avoid water, solvents, and abrasives.
Does the straw hat acoustic pendant light really reduce noise?
Yes. The wide PET felt brim absorbs mid- and high-frequency sound, reducing echo and reverberation in the space beneath it. It noticeably improves comfort in busy rooms but is not soundproofing — pairing it with other soft furnishings gives the best result.
What wattage is it, and is it dimmable?
Both size variants use a 15W integrated LED. Dimming depends on the driver installed, so contact us to confirm compatibility before adding a dimmer switch.
Which size should I choose?
The Ø50 cm works well over a single desk, kitchen island, or small dining table. The Ø65 cm suits a larger dining or conference table and busier, more open areas where more coverage is needed.
Does it need hardwiring, or can I plug it in?
It is a hardwired ceiling pendant — not plug-in. We recommend a licensed electrician for installation. Turn off power at the breaker before attaching the canopy, and adjust the suspension cords to your preferred drop height.
What is it made of, and how do I clean it?
The shade is made entirely from PET acoustic felt — a durable, recycled-material fabric that absorbs sound. To clean, use a soft brush or a vacuum on low suction. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasive cleaners, which can damage the felt fibers and reduce its acoustic performance.
