What is the shade made of?

Hand-knotted cotton rope over a metal frame. The base is wood. All hardware is metal.

Dimming works only if you install a dimmable LED or Edison bulb. The lamp itself has a simple push-button on/off switch.

How long is the cord and where is the switch?

The cord is 150cm (59″) long with a foot-operated push switch. Custom lengths are available—contact support@vakkerlight.com to request a longer drop.

What table height does this suit?

The lamp is 15.7″ tall. On a standard 30″ nightstand or side table, the shade sits at comfortable eye level for reading or ambient lighting.

Does it work on US power and ship free?

Yes. It runs on standard 110–240V household current and is approved for North America. All US orders ship free to all 50 states.

Beautiful table lamps. Great with any decor. The detail in the woven shades is stunning. Classically simple yet extremely elegant. The shade drum is quite large but works well with the base and isnt overwhelming. Love these lamps.
