Can I hang this over my dining table?

Yes. V1, V2, V3, or V12 work well. V1 and V2 are compact. V3 is narrow and long. V12 stretches 78.7 inches across. Pick based on your table length and room height.

Does the light shine up, down, or all around?

The LED sits inside the brass canopy at the top and shines down through the petal cluster. Light filters through the brass leaves and bounces around the petals.

What's the difference between the drape and sphere models?

Drape models (V1–V5) are rectangular and narrow, petals hang mostly downward. Sphere models (V6–V11) are circular and spread petals outward and down all around. Pendant models (V12–V14) are very long and flat, meant to hang horizontally above tables or walls.

Twee vormen: verticale drapering of horizontale spreiding

Massief messing. Elk blad is gesneden uit messingplaat en afgewerkt in crème of goud. Geen acryl of hars.

Kan ik deze boven mijn eettafel hangen?

Ja. V1, V2, V3 of V12 werken goed. V1 en V2 zijn compact. V3 is smal en lang. V12 spreid zich uit over 78,7 centimeter. Kies op basis van je tafelbreedte en kamerahoogte.

Schijnt het licht omhoog, omlaag of overal heen?

De LED zit in het messing baldakijn bovenaan en schijnt naar beneden door de bladerklusters. Licht filtert door de messing bladeren en weerkaatst rond.

Wat is het verschil tussen de drapeer- en bolvormige modellen?

From Clay to Chandelier The Ceramic Leaf:
Four Stages of Craft

Each ginkgo leaf passes through four skilled hands before it joins the chandelier. No leaf is identical. Every surface carries the trace of the artisan who made it.

Step 1: Sculpting and carving the ceramic ginkgo leaf form

Sculpting & Carving

Each leaf begins as raw clay. Master sculptors shape the distinctive bilobed ginkgo form by hand, carving the characteristic veins and curvature that give each leaf its living quality.

Mold Making

Precision plaster molds are cast from the master sculpt. Each mold preserves the exact weight, thickness, and surface detail of the original — ensuring every leaf in a commission matches perfectly.

Kiln Firing

Formed leaves are carefully dried then fired in a high-temperature kiln. The ceramic body becomes hard, dense, and uniquely translucent — allowing the warm glow of the light source to soften through each leaf.

Grinding & Polishing

Each fired leaf is ground and hand-polished to a smooth, silk-matte finish. The edges are refined, the surface inspected, and any imperfection addressed — before the leaf is approved and assembled onto the brass armature.
