The Bloom is a plug-in rattan pendant — a swag light that hangs from a ceiling hook and plugs into any wall outlet, with no hardwiring or electrician needed. Hand-woven natural rattan forms overlapping, petal-like layers on a black metal frame, and the weave glows warm when lit. A 15′ cloth cord with an inline on/off switch lets you place it anywhere near an outlet. 11.8″ wide — for a bedroom, reading corner, or small dining nook.

- No electrician or junction box — screw the swag hook into a ceiling joist, hang the pendant, drape the cord to the wall, and plug into a standard outlet.
- The 15′ cord covers most ceiling-to-outlet runs; gather extra length at the hook or use a cord stay. For a sloped ceiling, use a swivel swag hook so the pendant hangs level.
- Use an E26/E27 LED bulb, not incandescent or halogen, so the rattan and fabric stay cool. Warm white (2700K) suits the natural weave.
- Indoor, dry locations only (IP20) — keep away from moisture and open flame.
- Rattan is a natural material — weave pattern and color vary slightly by piece; the photo shows a representative sample.
Does this plug-in rattan pendant need hardwiring or an electrician?
No. It's a swag light: hang it from a ceiling hook, drape the cord to the wall, and plug into any standard outlet — no junction box, no electrician. That makes it renter-friendly and easy to move.
How long is the cord and where should I hang it?
The cloth swag cord is 15′ (about 4.6 m), so the pendant can hang well away from the outlet. Mount it over a nightstand, reading chair, or small dining table, then drape the cord to the nearest socket.
What bulb does it use, and will US bulbs fit?
One E26 or E27 bulb (not included) — US E26 bulbs thread in and run on 120V. Use a cool-running LED, not incandescent or halogen, so the rattan stays cool; warm white (2700K) gives the coziest glow.
Can I get a hardwired or multi-head version instead?
Yes. Hardwired single-head, plus 2- and 3-head clusters on square or round canopies, are available on request. Email us your ceiling setup before ordering.
What's the warranty and how do I care for the rattan?
2-year warranty on the frame, cord, and switch. Dust the rattan with a soft brush; keep it dry. Bulbs are standard replaceable E26/E27 LEDs. Email support replies within one business day at hello@vakkerlight.com.
