楮の内皮から作られた透光性washi紙を手作業で製作したペンダントライトは、他の素材にはない温かみのある柔らかな光を放ちます。各作品は光の彫刻――有機的で、静かに輝き、手作業で製作されています。

手作りwashi紙

楮の内皮紙を金属フレームに手作業で接合。手作業の温かみが感じられます。

温かみのある柔らかな光

透光性紙が光を全方向に柔らかく拡散させます。優しく包み込むような空間を作ります。

クラスター仕様

サイズを組み合わせた多灯設置も可能――シンプルな2灯から5灯まで。

手作りの特性——糊跡が見られる場合があります

各シェードは、紙と糊を使った丁寧な手作業の接合工程を経ています。シェード周辺の軽微な糊跡は、この手作りプロセスの自然な結果であり、品質欠陥ではありません。

取付に関する注意

直付け天井工事のため、認定電気技師の施工をお勧めします。
ケーブルは197″ (500 cm) まで調節可能です。カスタム延長はご要望に応じて対応いたします。
クラスター構成の場合、各ペンダントは独立したケーブルで吊り下げられ、個別のドロップ高さを別々に調節して、段階的な効果を演出できます。
取付時に和紙製のシェードを丁寧に扱ってください。紙の表面に過度な圧力をかけないようにしてください。
室内用です。浴室やその他の湿った場所での使用には適していません。

シェードに接着剤の跡があるのはなぜですか？

シェードは紙と接着剤を使い手作業で組み立てられています。縁に沿った軽微な接着剤の跡は、この手工芸プロセスの通常の特性であり、欠陥ではありません。

どのサイズが利用できますか？

3つのサイズ — 26A (∅17.7″)、21A (∅25.6″)、15A (∅34.6″) — と、2個、3個、または5個のペンダントを段階的な高さで組み合わせたクラスター構成。

どのような電球がおすすめですか？

素材について日本の和紙 —
永遠の芸術

和紙は、天然植物繊維 — コウゾ（楮）、ミツマタ、ガンピ — から作られた伝統的な日本の手漉き紙です。繊維の剥ぎ取り、煮沸、洗浄、叩解、竹の網での成形と乾燥という細心のプロセスを経て、きわめて強靭でありながら繊細な透光性を備えた紙が生まれます。

静寂の芸術

繊維から完成した光へ — 紙製ランタンのあらゆる製造段階は、訓練された手、静かな集中力、そして幾世代にも渡って受け継がれた知識に導かれています。

繊維の選別・準備

コウゾの樹皮を剥ぎ、灰汁で煮沸し、手洗いして、製紙に適した長い繊維を露わにします。

シート成形

繊維を水に浸して叩き、竹の網を懸濁液に浸すことで、均一で透光性のある未来の紙の層を捉えます。

乾燥・仕上げ

シートは木製の板の上で丁寧に押され、日干しされます。その結果、類稀な柔らかさ、強度、そして温かみのある透光性を備えた紙が生まれます。

骨組み製作と張り仕上げ

竹または木の骨組みが手で組立てられます。和紙を層状に重ね、骨組みのまわりに張りつけてランタンの形をつくります。

手描きの文様

職人たちは伝統的な文様 — 墨の筆運び、植物文様、幾何学模様 — を直接和紙の表面に施します。同じものはふたつとしてありません。

Wow! I love this lamp so much! I put it in our living room. It's the perfect size and looks great in our apartment window. It adds a lot of atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Exactly what was needed

This shade is aesthetically pleasing. You do need to take care when you put in the wire that holds it open. It would be easy to tear the paper globe. Once up, the fact that it is paper does not matter. It will last forever as long as nobody messes with it.
