Are these bright enough for use alongside our bathroom mirrors? Renovating our primary bathroom and want to ensure we have enough light for shaving, etc.

This fixture comes by default with 12W E14 bulbs. If you would like brighter lighting for tasks such as shaving, you may replace them with higher wattage bulbs, as long as they are compatible with the fixture.

Can the black cable be shortened to make the dome pendant sit closer to the base?
