About the black travertine — genuine natural stone with a matte black surface finish
The body of this ceiling light is made from genuine travertine stone. To create a deep, even black aesthetic, the stone surface is finished with a matte black coating — rather than left in its natural off-white state. This is an intentional design choice: the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are preserved, while the surface colour is controlled. The entire stone presents a consistent matte black — this is exactly as it was designed to be.
Natural travertine — formed by geological processes
Travertine is formed in the natural environment through thousands of years of complex physical and chemical processes. Even beneath the black surface, the pore distribution and stone characteristics of each piece remain entirely unique.

Is the travertine naturally black?
No — travertine is naturally off-white. The matte black finish is a surface coating applied to the genuine stone as an intentional design choice. The natural pore structure, weight, and density are fully preserved beneath the coating.
What color temperature does it ship in?
Default is 3000K Warm White. 4000K Neutral and 6000K Cool White are available — contact our support team before placing your order.
What sizes are available?
Two sizes: ∅17.7" (45 cm, ~36W) and ∅22.8" (58 cm, ~52W). Both are 3.9" (10 cm) tall — a slim flush mount profile.
