Fluted Bloom Vase is a pair of hand-thrown stoneware vessels carved with deep vertical ridges that gather into a soft, ruffled opening — like a fabric sack cinched at the neck. Sandstone-textured matte off-white finish across both forms.
Tall is the upright vessel with a rounded body and pleated rim. Wide is the lower-profile version with a broader hip and a more torn, organic rim. Both accept dried stems through the ~50 mm opening — pampas grass, bunny tails, eucalyptus, dried magnolia branches, or wheat. Anchor a console table on its own, or pair the two forms for a sculptural arrangement.
Hand-Thrown Stoneware
Each vessel is shaped on the wheel and finished by hand. Ridge depth, rim ruffle, and surface texture vary slightly between pieces.
Sandstone Matte Finish
Raw, unglazed stoneware texture in a clean off-white — reads as quiet, earthy luxury without aged or distressed effects.
~50 mm Bloom Opening
Ruffled rim opens to a 2-inch interior — sized for medium-stem dried botanicals and small bouquets of faux florals.

What dried stems fit the ~50 mm opening?+
The 2″ ruffled opening accepts medium-stem botanicals: pampas grass, bunny tails, dried eucalyptus, wheat, dried magnolia, lavender bunches, or single-stem pieces like lotus pods. Faux florals work beautifully. Choose stems no thicker than a pencil for tight bouquets.
Which size works best for my space?+
Tall S (8.7″ × 11″) suits shelves and narrow consoles. Tall L (11.8″ × 12.6″) anchors entry tables or mantels. Wide (11.8″ × 13.4″) works best on low surfaces like coffee tables, seen from above, with its broader hip and organic rim.
Can I put fresh flowers or water in it?+
No. The stoneware is unglazed and unsealed—water seeps through the body and damages the finish. Use only dried botanicals, faux florals, or display as a standalone sculpture. Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth.
Is each vase unique?+
Yes. Hand-throwing on the wheel creates subtle variation in fluting depth, rim shape, and surface texture. Small kiln marks and tonal blooms from firing are part of the craft—they mark authenticity, not defects.
