Common questions

How far apart are the three rings from each other?

The rings nest concentrically and stagger vertically as they hang. Exact spacing varies slightly by variant, but the outer ring sits closest to the canopy and the innermost ring hangs deepest. See the dimensional drawing for the full drop of 59 inches total.

Can I dim this lamp?

This fixture accepts standard bulbs in the acrylic rings. Dimming depends on the bulbs you install and your home's electrical setup. Check with an electrician about your specific wiring before purchase.

What's the weight, and does my standard ceiling box support it?

We do not list weight specifications on this page. A qualified electrician can confirm whether your junction box and framing are adequate for any pendant before installation.

Which variant fits over a 48-inch dining table?

V2 (23.6″) is the standard size for most four-to-six-person tables. V3 (31.5″) works if your table is wider or you want the fixture to extend over the entire seating area. Measure your table width and allow 2 to 3 inches of clearance on each side.

Is this too bright for a bedroom?

To answer your question about the brightness: the Pirce Pendant Lamp is actually a wonderful choice for a bedroom.

The brightness will ultimately depend on the specific bulb you choose to use. When we ship the fixture, we include a 5W R7S bulb for testing purposes, which provides a gentle, ambient light. However, because the bulb is fully replaceable, you can easily swap it out on your own for a lower or higher wattage R7S bulb to achieve the exact brightness level and atmosphere you prefer for your bedroom.
