The Halstead Plaster Bowl Ring Chandelier arranges hand-cast plaster bowls around a slender dark-bronze iron ring, each bowl finished with a wrap of natural jute rope. The ring itself stays quiet while the sculptural plaster catches a soft warm glow from a built-in LED inside each bowl. Six sizes are planned, ranging from a compact entryway piece up to a great-room statement chandelier — though at this time only the Medium size's measurements and wattage have been confirmed.
Hand-cast plaster bowls
Each bowl is individually cast and finished by hand, with subtle texture and tone variation from piece to piece.
Iron ring & jute rope
A dark-bronze iron ring is paired with hand-finished jute rope wrapped over each bowl.
Built-in warm LED
An integrated warm-white LED glows from inside each bowl — no separate bulb is required.

- Confirm that the ceiling box can support the fixture's weight — the XL and XXL sizes will likely require reinforcement.
- Hang the bowl bottoms roughly 30–36″ above a dining table, or keep at least 7 ft of clearance in foyers and walkways.
- Handle each bowl separately during installation; cast plaster can chip if dropped, though it remains stable once mounted.
- Dust with a dry, soft cloth only — do not use water or solvents on the plaster surface.
- Rated IP20 — for indoor use in dry locations only; do not install in bathrooms, outdoors, or other damp areas.
- Disconnect power at the breaker before cleaning or servicing the fixture.
- The integrated LED is not a user-replaceable bulb; contact us if a bowl's light ever stops working.
Which size works best for my dining table?
Match the diameter roughly to your table length — the Medium (33.5″ / 85 cm) suits many 6 ft tables. Diameters for the other five sizes (XS, S, L, XL, XXL) haven't been confirmed yet, so please contact us with your table and room dimensions and we'll follow up once those figures are available.
How high should I hang it above the table?
Position the bowl bottoms roughly 30–36″ above the dining surface. The three suspension cables can be shortened on-site; for vaulted or high ceilings, contact us with your ceiling height before ordering to confirm longer cables are available.
Is this real plaster, and what makes each piece unique?
Yes — each bowl is individually hand-cast in plaster, not molded from natural stone, and finished by hand. Subtle texture, tone, and small surface variations occur naturally, so no two bowls look perfectly identical.
Is the plaster fragile, and how do I care for it?
Cast plaster can chip if dropped during installation, so handle each bowl separately. Once mounted, the fixture is stable. Dust with a dry, soft cloth only — never use water or solvents on the plaster.
How is it powered, and can the light be replaced?
A warm-white LED is built into each bowl, so no separate bulb is required. Confirmed wattage is 10W for the Medium size; wattage for the other sizes hasn't been confirmed yet. The LED is not a user-replaceable bulb — contact us if a bowl's light ever stops working.
Can I adjust the hanging height?
Yes. The three suspension cables can be shortened during installation. For a longer drop on high or vaulted ceilings, contact us with your ceiling height before ordering.
