The Goose Feathers Pendant Lamp is a sculptural pendant — hand-arranged white goose feathers cover a steel frame to create a soft, cloud-like silhouette. Light filters through the feathered surface for a warm diffused glow. Available in 2 forms (Dome and Ring) across 7 sizes (∅15.8" to 31.5"). ⚠ Made from natural feathers — important notes for allergies, pets, and care
The Goose Feathers Pendant Lamp uses natural goose feathers. Feathers are sourced, cleaned, and processed before assembly, but the finished lamp is not hypoallergenic — people with feather, down, or dust allergies should consider an alternative shade material. Pets (especially cats) may treat the feathers as a toy, so install out of reach for households with curious animals. Light feather shedding may occur in the first few weeks of use as the assembly settles. This is normal.

Indoor dry location only
The Goose Feathers Pendant Lamp is rated for indoor dry locations only — bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, foyers, hotel suites, restaurant interiors. Feathers absorb humidity, develop mildew, and can matt permanently in damp air. Do not install in bathrooms, kitchens directly above a sink or stove, screened porches, or any outdoor area. Keep at least 6 ft from steam sources (kettles, dishwashers, showers).
Hanging height for dining and bedside
For dining tables and kitchen islands, hang the bottom of the Goose Feathers Pendant Lamp 30-36 inches above the surface. For bedside (Dome ∅15.8"), hang 18-24 inches above the nightstand or 50-54 inches above the mattress. The 59-inch cable can be shortened during installation or extended on request.
Pair the right bulb — Warm LED, low heat
Use Warm White 2700K LED, globe (G25) or A19 shape, 4-9W (40-60W equivalent). LED bulbs are required — they run cool, which is essential near natural feathers. Do not use halogen, incandescent, or any high-heat bulb. Max bulb wattage: 15W LED per socket. Total wattage scales with bulb count by size.
Cleaning and revitalizing the feathers
Dust the Goose Feathers Pendant Lamp every 2-4 weeks with a hairdryer on cool / no-heat setting at low fan speed, held 12+ inches away from the shade. The airflow lifts dust and restores feather loft. Never use water, household cleaners, sprays, or hot air — water mats and stains feathers; heat damages the feather structure. Dome or Ring — which form fits my space?
Dome Form (3 sizes, H9.8"-13.8"): cloud-like bowl silhouette, more vertical presence. Best for bedrooms (bedside or main light), nursery, dressing rooms, small dining nook, hotel rooms with standard 9-12 ft ceilings. Ring Form (4 sizes, H5.5"-7.9"): flat donut silhouette, low-profile drop. Best for dining tables, kitchen islands, hallways, low ceilings (8-9 ft), and rooms where you want a wider visual spread without vertical bulk.
Are the feathers safe for people with allergies? Will pets damage the lamp?
Allergies: feathers are cleaned and processed before assembly, but the lamp is not hypoallergenic. People with diagnosed feather, down, or dust allergies should choose a different shade material. Dust can accumulate on feathers over time, which may aggravate sensitivities. Pets: cats are especially attracted to feathers and may try to climb or bat at the shade — install out of reach (high ceilings, no nearby furniture cats can jump from). Birds and small dogs are usually not a concern. Light feather shedding is normal in the first few weeks.

No. The Goose Feathers Pendant Lamp is rated for indoor dry locations only. Natural feathers absorb humidity from steam, shower spray, and rain — once wet, feathers matt permanently, develop mildew, and lose their fluffy texture. Do not install in bathrooms, kitchens directly above a sink or stove, screened porches, covered patios, or any outdoor area. Keep at least 6 ft from steam sources (kettles, dishwashers, showers). For damp or outdoor spaces, choose a wet- or damp-location fixture.
