The Silvara Fold Linear Pendant draws 31W of power through its integrated high-CRI LED module. The continuous light source is shielded by translucent natural mulberry silk, providing generous, glare-free downlight and ambient glow across large dining tables or kitchen islands without harsh shadows or hotspots.
What size dining table or kitchen island is this pendant designed for?
At 63.0″ (160 cm) long and 13.8″ (35 cm) high, this linear luminaire is ideally proportioned for dining tables 72″ to 96″ long (6 to 8+ seats), standard or extended kitchen islands, and long executive desks. For balanced visual proportions, we recommend having roughly 6″ to 12″ of table clearance extending beyond each end of the fixture.
Can I dim this light, and what switch should I use?
Yes. When ordering the dimmable configuration, the fixture pairs seamlessly with standard Triac (Thyristor) wall dimmer switches (such as Lutron or Leviton). We provide a direct link above to recommended compatible switches.
How do I clean and maintain the mulberry silk shade?
For regular maintenance, gently use a clean lint roller, a dry feather duster, or a vacuum cleaner fitted with a soft brush attachment on low suction. Do not use wet cloths, abrasive pads, or liquid chemical cleaning agents, as moisture may stain or loosen the natural silk fibers.
Can this pendant be installed on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
Yes. Because the linear fixture is suspended by twin flexible steel cables, each suspension wire can be adjusted independently at the ceiling canopy on-site to level the shade perfectly, even when mounted on angled, sloped, or vaulted ceilings.

Yes. Each Silvara Fold is individually handcrafted to order in our atelier. Due to the meticulous hand-layering of the mulberry silk over the geometric structure, dedicated production time is required prior to shipping.
