The Vakkerlight Mirella Sconce features a hand-formed microcement shade with soft, flowing edges inspired by natural waves. Suspended from a walnut-accented wall arm, it offers a warm, organic glow—perfect for modern rustic or wabi-sabi interiors.

What are the exact dimensions of the Mirella Sconce?+

Shade diameter is ∅ 9.8″ with height 5.9″. The cord hangs 25.6″ from the wall canopy. Depth from wall to arm tip is 11″. The ceiling canopy plate measures ∅ 4.7″.

Can I customize the size or finish of this sconce?+

Yes. The Mirella is built to order in our atelier. Contact us about custom sizing, finish options, or walnut wood variations to match your specific space and design needs.

What bulb does the Mirella Sconce use?+

The sconce uses an E27 base bulb. You can choose an LED bulb or Edison bulb. Both are user-replaceable. It runs on AC 110–240V and is compatible with standard wall switches.

Is this sconce suitable for a bedroom or living room?+

Yes. The Mirella's warm organic glow and compact 9.8″ diameter make it ideal for bedside reading, accent lighting in living rooms, or entry hallways with modern rustic or wabi-sabi interiors.

How do I control the Mirella Sconce?+

The sconce is hardwired and compatible with standard wall switches (not included). You can also add a pull-chain switch for convenient on-off control directly at the fixture.

A high-end experience from unboxing to hanging. The materials are premium and the setup was intuitive. Highly recommend this brand!

Solid construction, no rattling. Once its mounted, it feels like its part of the wall itself.

The light spreads evenly along the wall. The design blocks the direct glare from the eyes while illuminating the surface beautifully.

Easy to keep clean. Dust doesn't seem to stick to the microcement, and a quick wipe with a dry cloth is all it takes to keep it looking new.

The metal parts are precisely machined. Everything fits together tightly with no gaps. You can really see the attention to detail.

Perfect size for bedside lighting. Its substantial enough to make a statement but slim enough that I don't hit my head on it.

It feels like a boutique gallery find. The quality of the metal and the hand-finished look of the cement make it feel very exclusive.

The microcement finish is very consistent. No air bubbles or uneven patches.

Ideal for a reading nook.The combination of materials makes it feel very grounded.

The light output is so unique. Because of the solid cement backing, the light glows outward and creates a soft effect against the wall.

Installation was a breeze. The bracket is sturdy and aligned perfectly with my wall box. Had it installed in under 20 minutes.

Is this compatible for a bathroom?

The Sconce is designed with versatility in mind, making it suitable for installation in a variety of spaces, including bathrooms. However, it’s important to consider the environment in which it will be placed.
While the Sconce can physically be installed in a bathroom, we do not recommend placing it in areas with high humidity, such as directly above a shower or bathtub. Excess moisture could potentially affect the longevity and performance of the fixture, particularly its electrical components and finish.
For optimal results and to preserve the quality of your Sconce, we recommend installing it in a well-ventilated area where exposure to excessive moisture is minimized.
