A Vadim Glass Pendant lamp — a clear hand-blown glass bulb suspended from a slim polished metal rod, with a perforated metal cage housed inside the glass. The cage catches the filament glow and casts graphic patterned shadows on surrounding walls and ceiling. Single compact size (∅ 5.9″ × H 13.8″). Two body finishes (Black, Gold). E14 or E12 bulb base. Hardwired install. Matches the Vadim Wall Lamp for cohesive room design.

Installation Notes

Hardwired ceiling mount — junction box required. Licensed electrician recommended.
39.4″ rod is adjustable; extension available for taller ceilings on request. Position where the cage projection has clear wall/ceiling space to display.
For dimming, install a dimmable E12/E14 LED bulb — the fixture itself has a standard on/off switch, dimming depends on the bulb.

Frequently Asked Questions

Black or Gold — which finish?

Black: graphic modern, industrial-loft, contemporary minimalist. Gold: warmer Art Deco or mid-century modern. Both project the same shadow pattern from the internal cage.

What creates the shadow effect?

A brass perforated cage housed inside the clear glass bulb. When lit, the cage casts graphic patterned shadows on surrounding walls and ceiling. Effect is strongest against light-colored surfaces.

What bulb should I use?

E12 (US/CA) or E14 (EU/AU), max 15W. Clear filament Edison bulb in 2700K warm white — the visible filament enhances the cage's shadow projection.

Does it support dimming?

The fixture has an on/off switch — dimming depends on the bulb. Install a dimmable E12/E14 LED bulb paired with a compatible dimmer. Default bulb (if included) isn't dimmable.

Where should I hang it?

Best where the cage shadows have room to display: dining tables (30–36″ above), kitchen islands, bedside pendants, entryway accent. Pairs with the matching Vadim Wall Lamp.
