A small pendant centred on a hand-cut alabaster dome with a smaller alabaster globe suspended inside — the globe holds the bulb, sits a touch below the dome's open rim, and casts a warm glow through two layers of natural stone. The brass armature, ceiling canopy, and adjustable stem are warm-toned, hand-finished metal. Each piece of alabaster carries its own veining, translucence, and small fissures unique to that block of stone — no two pendants are the same. Available in two sizes: Small at ∅ 6.3″ × H 4.7″ (∅ 16 × H 12 cm) or Large at ∅ 9.1″ × H 6.3″ (∅ 23 × H 16 cm).

2 SKUs — single alabaster + brass configuration in two scales. Both sizes show the dome dimensions only; the brass rod drop is set on install from the included sectional rod. For dining-table use, hang the bottom of the dome 30–36 inches above the table top.
1 m sectional brass rod — included with every size
All sizes ship with a 1 m (39.4″) extension rod as standard. It is supplied as three screw-together sections, so the drop can be set on site by fitting only the sections you need — no cutting required:
- Section 120 cm / 7.9″
- Section 230 cm / 11.8″
- Section 350 cm / 19.7″
- Total when all three are fitted100 cm / 39.4″
Fitting fewer sections gives a drop of 20, 30, 50, 70 or 80 cm. Longer rods are available on request — email us with your ceiling height before ordering.
Never use water, soap, or any liquid cleaner on alabaster
Alabaster is a soft, porous natural stone. Liquid cleaners, water, soap, vinegar, and citrus all damage alabaster — they soak into the surface, stain it permanently, dull the natural translucence, and can etch the polished finish. Clean only with a soft, dry cloth or a clean soft-bristle brush. Never use abrasive pads, scouring powders, or solvents either. The brass armature can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth followed by a dry cloth; keep moisture away from the stone.
Hand-cut from natural alabaster — each piece unique
Each dome and globe is cut and turned by hand from a block of natural alabaster. The veining, translucence, micro-fissures, and small variations in colour vary from piece to piece — that's the nature of the stone, not a defect. Some blocks read warmer and creamier; others lean cooler and more grey-veined. The piece you receive will sit in the same design family as the photos but will not be a pixel-perfect match.
G9 base — bulb not included
The pendant uses a standard G9 base bulb, housed inside the alabaster globe. Light passes through the globe's stone wall first, then through the dome above, giving a doubly-diffused soft warm glow with no harsh hotspot. We recommend a warm-white (2700–3000K) G9 bulb. The bulb is user-replaceable — no bulb is included.
Hand-finished brass + natural alabaster
The brass stem, canopy, and dome-to-globe joint are hand-finished in a warm raw tone that will develop a soft patina over years of normal use — the surface darkens slightly and the warmth deepens. If you prefer a polished bright look, wipe with a soft dry cloth as part of regular dusting; if you prefer the patina, leave it. Either way, avoid abrasive metal polishes — they can scratch the brass and risk depositing residue on the alabaster. For project quantities or a custom rod drop length, email us before ordering.

- Screw in a G9 bulb (not included) before hanging the fixture — a warm-white 2700–3000K bulb is recommended.
- Decide your drop before the electrician starts: the included 1 m rod comes apart into 20 cm, 30 cm and 50 cm sections, so fitting one, two or all three gives 20 / 30 / 50 / 70 / 80 / 100 cm without cutting anything.
- If the alabaster develops a small chip from impact, it usually cannot be invisibly repaired — it becomes part of the piece's history. For major damage during install or transit, email support with your order number and photos.
What rod length comes with the pendant?
Every size ships with a 1 m (39.4″) sectional brass rod as standard. It arrives as three screw-together pieces — 20 cm, 30 cm and 50 cm (7.9″, 11.8″, 19.7″) — so your electrician can set the drop on site by fitting only the sections you need: 20, 30, 50, 70, 80 or the full 100 cm. Nothing needs to be cut. If you have a high or vaulted ceiling and need more than 1 m, email us with the ceiling height before ordering.
How do I clean the alabaster?
Only with a soft, dry cloth or a clean, soft-bristle brush. Never use water, soap, vinegar, citrus, abrasive pads, scouring powders, or solvents — alabaster is porous and soft, so any liquid soaks in and stains the stone permanently, while abrasives etch the polished surface. The brass armature can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth followed by a dry cloth; keep moisture strictly away from the alabaster. For visible dust, a long-handled feather duster is ideal — you don't even need to take the pendant down.

What bulb does it use? Can I change it?
It takes a standard G9 base bulb, housed inside the alabaster globe. We recommend a warm-white (2700–3000K) G9 bulb, doubly diffused by the globe and the dome above for a soft warm glow. The bulb is user-replaceable and not included — pick it up from any lighting or hardware store when you're ready to install.
Will the brass change color over time?
Slightly, yes. The brass is hand-finished in a raw warm tone and will develop a soft patina over years of normal use — the surface darkens a touch and the warmth deepens. Some buyers love the patina and let it develop; others prefer the brighter look and wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth to slow it down. Either way, avoid abrasive metal polishes (the residue can deposit on the alabaster and is difficult to remove). The patina is gradual and even — it doesn't appear as splotches.
What is the warranty?
The pendant carries a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects in the wiring, brass armature, and structural alabaster fittings under normal indoor use. Email support with your order number if anything arrives damaged or fails in normal use. Natural variation in alabaster veining, brass patina from age, small chips from impact, bulb burnout, and damage from water or solvent exposure are not covered.

What size should I choose—Small or Large?+
Small (∅ 6.3″ × H 4.7″) suits single pendants beside beds or sofas, or clusters above counters. Large (∅ 9.1″ × H 6.3″) works as a centerpiece over side tables or dining accents in small nooks. Both sizes include the same 1 m sectional brass rod, so the drop can be set to your ceiling on install.
How long is the rod, and can I shorten it?+
The standard rod is 1 m (39.4″), supplied as three screw-together sections of 20 cm, 30 cm and 50 cm. Fit one, two or all three to land on 20, 30, 50, 70, 80 or 100 cm — no cutting needed. Longer rods are available on request.
How high should I hang this pendant over a dining table?+
Hang the bottom of the alabaster dome 30–36 inches above the table top. Use the rod sections to land on the drop you need — the 20 / 30 / 50 cm pieces combine into six different lengths up to 1 m.
Will every alabaster pendant look the same?+
No. Each dome and globe is hand-cut from natural alabaster, so veining, translucence, and color tone vary piece to piece. Your pendant will sit in the same design family as the photos but will not be a pixel-perfect match—that's the nature of the stone.
