Roots Floor Lamp — 5 ft sculptural twin-shade lamp in dark patinated brass with linen shades
At 30 cm / 12 inches across the base and 160 cm / 63 inches tall — about 5.2 feet — the Roots is a sculptural twin-shade floor lamp with a branching trunk cast in dark patinated metal, splitting into two slim arms each topped with a tapered linen shade. The textured surface reads as weathered or hand-cast, lending an organic, raw quality to the form, while the linen shades diffuse the light into a soft, ambient glow at two heights. Suited to Organic Modern, Wabi-Sabi, or Artistic Contemporary interiors, the lamp works in living rooms, reading corners, or as an accent beside a sofa or armchair. Plugs into a standard wall outlet.

Does the patinated finish vary between pieces?
Yes — the dark patinated metal surface is intentionally weathered and may show slight variation in texture, tone, and patina depth between individual lamps. This is part of the organic, hand-finished aesthetic, not a defect.
How many bulbs do I need?
Two E26/E27 medium base bulbs (not included) — one per shade. Use warm white LED for soft glow. Dimming requires both dimmable bulbs and a Triac dimmer; the inline switch is on/off only.

What ceiling height do I need for the Roots Floor Lamp?+
A minimum ceiling height of 7 ft / 2.1 m is recommended. The lamp reaches 62.9″ tall, leaving comfortable clearance in standard residential spaces while allowing the branching form to be viewed fully.
How many bulbs does this lamp require?+
Two E26/E27 medium base bulbs (not included) — one per shade. Warm white LED bulbs are recommended for a soft glow. Both bulbs can be dimmed with dimmable bulbs and a Triac dimmer.
Is installation complicated?+
No. The 59″ cord includes an inline on/off switch and standard plug. Simply place the lamp and plug into a wall outlet—no electrician required. Two-person handling is recommended when unboxing due to the cast-metal weight.
Will the patinated finish look the same on every lamp?+
No—the dark patinated surface is intentionally hand-finished and weathered. Slight variations in texture, tone, and patina depth between individual pieces are part of the organic aesthetic, not defects.
