Kozo Paper Tower Swag Pendant — plug-in, 450 cm black cord, hang anywhere.
The same stacked Kozo mulberry paper tower form — now as a plug-in swag pendant that installs in any room in minutes, no electrician required. A 450 cm matte black cord (177 inches) routes from the plug to a wall-mounted hook, then drops to the pendant below. The generous cord length lets you position the lamp exactly where you need it: above a dining table, over a reading chair, in a stairwell corner, or anywhere else a ceiling outlet doesn’t exist. Two wall hooks are included. Two E26/E27 bulbs for even, warm ambient light through the full height of the shade.

Each shade is individually hand-crafted. Minor glue traces along the edge are a natural result of the hand-bonding process and are not quality defects.

Mount the wall hooks
Fix Hook A near the outlet, Hook B at the desired point above where the pendant should hang. Both hooks are included.
Route the cord
Run the 450 cm black cord from the plug along the wall or ceiling via Hook A, then over to Hook B. The cord drapes in a clean diagonal or arc.
Drop the pendant & plug in
Adjust the drop length at Hook B so the pendant sits at your preferred height, then plug in to the nearest outlet. Done.

Two warm-white LEDs at 2700–3000 K are recommended — the warm tone passes through the mulberry paper as a soft, sourceless glow. Use matching bulbs of the same wattage and colour temperature in both sockets. Two 6–8W warm LEDs (12–16W combined) provide comfortable ambient lighting for a dining table or living area up to 20 m².

How much wall space does the cord take up?
The 450 cm (177 inches) cord is long enough to route from a floor outlet, up the wall, across the ceiling to above the hanging point — comfortably covering rooms of 3–4 m width. The cord runs along the wall and ceiling in a clean diagonal or arc, clipped via the two included hooks. The matte black cord and hooks are designed to read as a considered design element rather than a compromise — particularly against white or light-toned walls and ceilings.
What surfaces can I mount the wall hooks on?
The included hooks can be mounted on drywall, plaster, timber, brick, and concrete surfaces with appropriate fixings. On drywall, a drywall anchor is recommended for Hook B (the load-bearing hook above the pendant). Hook A (near the outlet, lighter load) can often use a simple screw. Confirm wall type and load rating with the hook hardware before installation if you are unsure.
Can I use this as a hardwired pendant instead of plug-in?
No — this version is designed for plug-in use only. If you need the same Kozo Paper Tower shade as a hardwired ceiling pendant, please see our hardwired version of this pendant in the same series. The two products share the same shade and dimensions but have different wiring systems.
Is this lamp certified for North America and Europe?
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.

Can I hang this over my dining table without an electrician?+
Yes. The 177″ cord routes from any wall outlet along your wall or ceiling via two included hooks, then drops to the pendant. No hardwiring or electrician needed—install in minutes.
What bulbs do I need, and how bright is it?+
Two E26 or E27 bulbs (US or EU plug versions). We recommend 6–8W warm LEDs per socket for comfortable ambient lighting up to 20 m². Use matching bulbs of the same wattage and color temperature.
How do I position the cord so it looks clean?+
Mount Hook A near your outlet and Hook B above where you want the pendant. Route the 177″ black cord along the wall or ceiling between them—it drapes in a clean diagonal or arc.
Is the paper shade white, and will it yellow over time?+
Yes, the stacked shade is white mulberry paper hand-bonded by our atelier. Minor glue traces along edges are natural. The warm glow passes through as soft, sourceless light.
Can I move this pendant to different rooms?+
Fully portable. Unplug it, unhang from the hooks, and rehang anywhere with a nearby outlet. Repositionable inline switch requires no wall installation.
