A solid alabaster dome on a cluster of polished steel columns — a mushroom-form table lamp built from natural stone

Mira is a compact mushroom-form table lamp built around a solid alabaster dome — translucent stone with fibrous veining that glows softly from within when lit. Instead of a single-stem base, the dome rests on a cluster of polished stainless steel columns, giving the silhouette an architectural, atomic-era weight.

Sized at 30 cm Ø × 28 cm tall (about 11.8″ × 11″) — well-scaled for nightstands, console tables, and reading desks. G9 socket on a plug-in cord; bulb sold separately. The dome reads as a quiet sculpture by day and a warm focal glow by night.

Each alabaster dome is one-of-a-kind. Alabaster is natural translucent stone formed over millennia — fibrous veining direction, tonal warmth, and translucency vary between every dome we cut. The polished steel base may show fingerprints initially; a soft microfiber cloth restores its mirror finish.

We recommend a 25-40W equivalent LED in 2700-3000K warm white. The compact G9 base fits the cluster housing, and the warm tone reads naturally through the alabaster — bringing out the amber undertones in its fibrous veining. For dimming, choose a Triac-dimmable G9 LED and pair with a standard Triac wall dimmer.

Why does my alabaster dome look different from the photo?

Alabaster is a natural translucent stone — fibrous veining direction, tonal warmth, and translucency vary between every dome we cut. The photo shows a representative example, not the exact piece you'll receive.

Will the polished steel base show fingerprints?

Yes — polished stainless steel is a mirror finish. A quick wipe with a soft microfiber cloth restores the mirror sheen. Avoid abrasive sponges which will permanently scratch the polish.

What's a G9 bulb and where do I buy one?

G9 is a small two-pin base. It's widely available on Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowe's under "G9 LED bulb." We recommend 2700-3000K warm white to maintain the stone's natural amber undertones.

Does the alabaster glow when lit?

Yes — alabaster is naturally translucent, so warm light from the bulb softly bleeds through the dome, revealing the internal veining patterns. The effect is most striking in dimmer rooms.

How do I clean the alabaster?

Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth with water only — never use acidic cleaners which can etch the natural surface.

Is Mira certified for global use?

Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.

What size is the Mira lamp, and will it fit my nightstand?+

The Mira measures 11.8″ diameter × 11″ tall—compact and well-scaled for nightstands, console tables, and reading desks. Check your surface depth to ensure 11.8″ of clearance.
