The Nerina is a European-style brass chandelier with cast antique-brass scrollwork, a mermaid motif, and frosted white glass — a scalloped shell-shaped bowl at the center, with floral-bud glass shades on the larger size. It comes in two sizes on a 50 cm adjustable chain: a 9-light version for a living room or bedroom, and a 3-light version for a dining nook or entryway. Old-world, warm, and softly diffused.

Default configuration
Antique-brass frame with frosted white glass; 50 cm adjustable hanging chain. The large size has nine E14 sockets (six floral-bud shades plus the center bowl); the small size has three E14 sockets in the shell bowl.
Bulb base — please note E14
This chandelier uses E14 (small Edison screw, 14 mm) bulbs — the European small base. This is not the US E12 candelabra base, so check before buying: look for E14 bulbs (widely sold for 110–240V) rather than E12. Warm white (2700K) suits the brass and frosted glass. Questions? - The 50 cm chain is adjustable — remove links to set the drop height you want before final wiring.
- Use E14 bulbs rated for 110–240V; warm white (2700K) suits the brass and frosted glass.
- Use LED bulbs to keep the glass shades and brass cool in use.
- Wipe the brass and glass with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners on the brass.
What bulbs does the Nerina use, and are these US E12?
No — they're E14, the European small Edison screw (14 mm). That's slightly larger than the US E12 candelabra base, so order E14 bulbs (easy to find for 110–240V) rather than E12. The large size takes nine; the small size takes three. Warm white (2700K) looks best.
What's the difference between the two sizes?
Same design and antique-brass finish, two scales. The large is 28.3″ wide with nine E14 lights, for a 10–18 m² living room or bedroom. The small is 13.8″ wide with three E14 lights, for a 5–10 m² dining nook or entryway.
How far down does it hang, and is the drop adjustable?
Both sizes hang from a 50 cm adjustable chain, plus the fixture's own height (25.6″ large / 23.6″ small). You can remove chain links to shorten the drop, so it works with standard and slightly higher ceilings.
Is the glass real glass, and how is it finished?
Yes, the shades are frosted white glass — a scalloped shell-shaped bowl, with floral-bud shades on the larger size. The frosting diffuses the light to a soft, even glow and hides the bulbs. Tones and small bubbles can vary slightly between pieces.
What is the warranty and support?
2-year warranty on the frame and wiring. Bulbs are consumable and not covered, but they're inexpensive E14 replacements. Email support replies within one business day.

What size Nerina works best for a dining room?+
The large 28.3″ Ø × 25.6″ H with 9 lights fits rooms of 10–18 m² (roughly 12×15 ft). The small 13.8″ Ø × 23.6″ H with 3 lights suits compact dining nooks of 5–10 m². Email us for a custom sizing recommendation based on your table dimensions.
What is the minimum ceiling height needed?+
The fixture drops 25.6″ on a standard 50 cm chain. Add 10–12″ for the canopy and clearance. If your ceiling is under 9 ft, remove chain links in our atelier to shorten the drop before shipment.
Does this use standard US bulbs?+
No—Nerina uses E14 bulbs (European 14 mm base), not US E12. E14 LED bulbs are widely available and rated 110–240V. Warm white 2700K suits the brass and frosted glass. Check your bulb base before ordering.
Can I adjust the chain length?+
Yes. The 50 cm adjustable chain allows you to remove links and set the drop height before final wiring. Our atelier team can pre-shorten it for your ceiling height—specify your preferred drop when you order.
How do I clean the brass and glass?+
Wipe both with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners on the antique brass—they dull the finish. Use LED bulbs to keep the glass and brass cool during use.
