All Vakkerlight fan lights are equipped with DC motors. The variable frequency motor allows reverse rotation for effective ventilation and warm air redistribution in winter, while maintaining quiet operation.

The unique pattern on the shade is a printed design applied to the fabric — it is not a woven or embossed natural texture. The print is intentional, adding visual depth and character to the shade's appearance.

LED light sources are built to last, with an exceptionally long service life under normal use. For added peace of mind, we offer an ongoing light source support service — should your LED ever fail, we will always be able to provide a compatible replacement, ensuring your fixture continues to work for years to come. Can I use a standard wall switch?
No. Standard home switches are not compatible with this fan's receiver. For wall control, purchase the Vakkerlight Wireless Wall Switch from our website. The handheld remote is included.
Is the pattern on the shade real texture or printed?
Printed. The decorative pattern is applied to the fabric — it adds visual depth and character but is not a woven or embossed natural texture.
Can I get a flush-mount version?
Yes. After placing your order, provide your order number to our support team and we will arrange a flush-mount installation without the suspension rod.
Does it have a reverse function?
Yes. The variable frequency DC motor supports reverse rotation, useful for redistributing warm air in winter and effective ventilation.
What sizes and models are available?
Two models: Model A (H11.8") and Model B (H15.7"). Each comes in ∅36", ∅42", ∅48", and ∅52" spans.

What size should I choose for my room?+
36″ suits small bedrooms; 42″ fits standard living rooms; 48″ works for larger spaces; 52″ for open floor plans or high ceilings. Model A (11.8″ drop) is suspension-mounted; Model B (15.7″ drop) mounts flush or with shorter clearance. Consult room dimensions with our atelier for custom fit.
How much ceiling height do I need?+
Model A requires 9′–10′ minimum with standard 11.8″ suspension rod (extendable on request). Model B needs 8.5′+ for flush or closer ceiling mount. Contact our atelier to discuss your ceiling height and customize mounting options.
Does this fixture need a special switch?+
Yes—standard wall switches are incompatible. Use the included handheld remote or purchase our Vakkerlight Wireless Wall Switch separately for wall control. Hardwired installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
How do I clean the fabric shade?+
The printed fabric shade diffuses warm 3000K light beautifully. Gently dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture. For detailed care, contact our support team after purchase for shade-specific guidance.
