Translucent glass. It scatters light to create visual depth and soft illumination rather than directing it in one direction.

Can I dim this lamp?

Yes. Order the Triac dimmable version and install it with a Triac dimmer switch (not included) for smooth brightness control.

What kind of light does it throw, and where should I hang it?

The translucent shade softens light evenly. Mount it beside a mirror, above a console, flanking a bed, or in an entryway for ambient and accent lighting.

What do I need to install it?
