This is absolutely the best desk lamp I've ever bought (and I've already bought a few). I do very intricate cross stitch and this light is the brightest, strongest, and with the most coverage I have found. It features many easy adjustments to make the light suitable for all tasks. The light was easy to put together and is easy to change the lighting color. I needed a good sturdy but flexible light for my printmaking studio that would allow accurate color mixing and see how the artworks would look in different lighting situations when I create my prints. After much research, I bought this inexpensive desk lamp, which has met all my needs. Required was a lamp that would light up my entire 4' l x2' d work surface. With limited depth, this lamp has a low profile and fits perfectly at one end of the table while giving all the light needed for various reading tasks. So happy with this purchase.
