What colour does the light appear on the wall?
The scarlet glass dome tints the light passing through it, casting a warm red-amber glow onto the surrounding wall. The effect is most pronounced in dimmer environments. Using a warm-white bulb (2700–3000 K) deepens the colour; a cooler bulb produces a brighter, more orange-red quality.
Does this sconce need to be hardwired?
Yes. The Scarlet Dome Wall Sconce is hardwired and connects to an external wall light switch for controlled power. No plug-in option is available for this fixture.
