The Capsule Globe Pendant Light is a minimalist pendant — a polished metal capsule top suspends a blown opal-glass globe diffuser that emits a soft, glare-free ambient glow. About the capsule top — polished aluminum alloy, not ceramic
The capsule-shaped top is polished aluminum alloy finished in Gold, Black, or White — keeping weight low (ceiling mount-friendly) and price accessible. The opal-glass globe below is hand-blown. Aluminum gives the capsule a sharp, smooth mirror polish that holds its finish over time without the chipping risk of glazed ceramic.

Indoor dry location only
The Capsule Globe Pendant Light is rated for indoor dry locations — bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, foyers, living rooms, hotel reception, restaurants. Safe on a bathroom vanity wall away from direct shower spray, but do not install inside a shower enclosure, directly above a tub, on a covered porch, or any outdoor area.
Hanging height for dining and bedside
For dining tables and kitchen islands, hang the bottom of the globe 30-36 inches above the surface. For bedside (Size XS / S), hang 16-20 inches above the nightstand surface or 50-54 inches above the mattress. The 59-inch cable can be shortened during install or extended on request.
Opal glass and the warm-glow effect
The blown opal-glass globe diffuses light evenly without exposing the bulb, eliminating glare. For best effect, use a Warm White 2700K LED at 6-9W — the soft warm glow is the design's signature. Avoid frosted or filament-style bulbs (they show through the opal slightly).

Is the Capsule Globe Pendant Light made from ceramic?
No — the capsule top is polished aluminum alloy finished in Gold, Black, or White, not glazed ceramic. The opal-matte glass globe diffuser below is hand-blown. Aluminum holds its mirror polish longer than glazed ceramic and reduces overall fixture weight, making it safe for any standard ceiling junction box. For sustained finish quality, dust the capsule weekly with a soft microfiber cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners.
Gold, Black, or White — which capsule finish should I pick?
Gold: mirror-polish warm gold — pairs with wood floors, leather, terracotta, classic and warm contemporary interiors, hospitality. Black: high-gloss black — pairs with white walls, marble, stone, contemporary minimalist or Japandi rooms. White: soft matte white — disappears into white ceilings, ideal for Scandinavian minimal interiors and rooms where you want the opal globe to be the focal point.
What bulb does the Capsule Globe Pendant Light use, and is it dimmable?
E26 (US/CA) or E27 (EU/AU) base. Recommended: 6-9W LED at Warm White 2700K, globe shape (G25). The opal-matte glass diffuses the bulb completely, so any frosted or smooth-glass LED works — avoid clear filament-style LEDs (the filament shape ghosts through the opal). Bulbs sold separately. Dimmable when paired with dimmable E26/E27 LED bulbs and a compatible TRIAC or trailing-edge wall dimmer.
Can I install the Capsule Globe Pendant Light in a bathroom or covered porch?
It is rated for indoor dry locations only. Safe on a bathroom vanity wall away from direct shower spray and standing water, but should not be installed inside a shower enclosure, directly above a tub, on a covered porch, screened patio, or any outdoor area. The aluminum capsule, integrated electrical, and opal-glass globe are not designed for damp or wet environments. For wet bathroom or outdoor areas, choose a UL-rated wet- or damp-location pendant.
