A traditional turned-wood table lamp built around a solid ash hardwood body, hand-stained to a rich walnut tone with the natural grain still visible through the finish. The baluster silhouette — full belly, narrow neck, disc-shaped waist — is a classical wood-turning form revived in a modern living-room and bedroom-friendly proportion.
Choose from three hand-crafted shade options: a warm Plaid Fabric with vertical brown trim, a coastal Hand-Woven Rattan, or a tailored Woven Fabric with Leather Trim. All three share the same wood body, a single E26 LED setup, and pull-chain-plus-inline-switch dual control. Bulb ships pre-installed.

About the wood — solid ash, walnut-stained
The body is solid ash hardwood, hand-stained to a rich walnut tone. It is not made of black walnut wood — ash is a North American hardwood with strong, fine grain that takes stain beautifully. The visible grain pattern, color depth, and tonal variation will differ from lamp to lamp because each turning is cut from a unique piece of ash.
Dual control — pull-chain plus inline button
This lamp ships with two ways to switch on and off: a brass pull-chain attached to the lamp body (visible from the front), and an inline button on the cord. Either control turns the bulb on or off — pick whichever is closer to your hand. The pull-chain is the traditional / decorative option; the inline button is the discreet option.
CRI Ra97 — natural-light color rendering
The included LED renders colors at CRI Ra97 — much closer to natural daylight than typical 80-CRI bulbs. Skin tones, fabrics, art, and food look truer under this lamp. This is a noticeable difference if you read, work, or display textiles or artwork in the same space.
Hand-crafted shades — small variations between pieces
The Rattan and the Woven-Fabric+Leather shades are made by hand, so weave tension, fiber tone, and surface texture vary slightly between pieces. The Plaid Fabric shade is loom-woven with hand-applied trim; small alignment variations in the trim are normal. These variations are signs of authentic craft, not defects.

- Place on a flat, dry tabletop. The wood base has a felt or rubber pad to protect the surface.
- Use either the brass pull-chain on the lamp body or the inline button on the cord — both turn the bulb on/off.
- For indoor dry locations only. Not suitable for bathrooms, showers, or damp rooms.
- Avoid placing in direct sunlight for extended periods, which can fade the fabric or rattan shade over time.
Is this real walnut wood?
No — the body is solid ash hardwood, hand-stained to a walnut color. Ash is a North American hardwood with strong, fine grain that takes stain beautifully and reads visually as walnut once finished. We're transparent about this because "walnut wood" is a different (and more expensive) species; what you're getting is solid ash with a walnut-tone finish.
What's CRI Ra97 and why does it matter?
CRI (Color Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source shows colors compared to natural daylight. Standard household LEDs are usually CRI 80; Ra97 is much higher, meaning skin tones, art, fabrics, and food look truer under this lamp. If you read, paint, or display textiles or artwork in the same room, the difference is visible.
How do the two switches work together?
They're independent. Either switch turns the bulb on or off — there's no priority. If the lamp is on and you press the inline button, it turns off; pulling the chain at that point turns it back on. Pick whichever is closer to where you sit.
Is the lamp dimmable?
No. Both the pull-chain and the inline button are on/off only. The included LED is not dimmable.
Will my shade and wood grain look exactly like the photo?
Close, but not identical. Solid ash grain pattern, color depth, and stain absorption vary lamp to lamp — each piece carries its own grain. The Rattan and Woven-Fabric+Leather shades are made by hand and have small weave and trim variations. The Plaid Fabric shade is loom-woven with hand-applied trim; alignment varies subtly. These differences are signs of natural materials and craft, not defects.
