What size Zarora Raffia Pendant should I choose for my dining table?+

The smaller ∅ 19.7″ works well for tables seating four; the larger ∅ 23.6″ suits six-seat tables. Both hang 59″ adjustable, extendable upon request in our atelier for optimal sightline over the table.

How do I clean the natural raffia shade?+

Gently dust the raffia fibers with a soft dry cloth. Avoid moisture on the woven surface. For deeper cleaning, contact us—our atelier can advise on care for your handwoven piece.

Can the Zarora be customized or made in other colors?+

This model is handwoven in natural raffia. Custom sizing, hanging height extensions, and material variations are possible; contact our atelier to explore made-to-order options for your space.

What is the minimum ceiling height required for this pendant?+

With 59″ adjustable hanging cable, install at least 8 feet. The cable extends on request for higher ceilings. Contact us to discuss your exact ceiling height and desired drop distance.

What light bulbs and control options work with the Zarora?+

Accepts E26 or E27 LED or Edison bulbs. Hardwired to a standard wall switch (not included). Compatible with dimming as a build-to-order option—ask our atelier when ordering.

A Heritage Craft, Shaped by Hand

No machine can replicate a craftsman's feel for rattan tension. From splitting and scraping raw bamboo culms to the intricate interlacing of rattan strands, a single medium-sized bamboo lamp can take a master artisan several days to complete.

Not a drop of glue is used at the joints — only refined mortise-and-tenon joinery and hand-tied rattan knots. This is more than a lighting fixture; it is a dialogue between humanity and nature across time, carrying marks of life that can never be repeated.

*Note: The natural grain, subtle color variation, and hand-woven finishing marks on the bamboo and rattan surface are nature's gift and proof of craftsmanship — not imperfections.

Each piece undergoes rigorous high-temperature, high-pressure steaming and physical carbonization dehydration — thoroughly mold- and insect-resistant with zero chemical treatment, built to last for years to come.

Cheap PE Plastic Faux Rattan

Distinctly plastic and lifeless. It often gives off an odor under light exposure and quickly grows brittle with age, losing any sense of premium home décor quality.

Untreated Low-Grade Bamboo
