The Vertex Faceted Alabaster Drop Chandelier pairs a solid metal cone cap with a tapered, faceted alabaster point below it, meeting at their widest point so light exits through the narrowing stone tip as a concentrated, warm spill rather than a broad wash. It's offered as a single drop, or gathered into a 3-, 5-, 7-, 9-, or 12-light cluster, each cone hung on its own cord from a shared ceiling canopy — trim the cords to different lengths at installation to hold the cluster close and level, spread it wider across the ceiling, or let it fall in a diagonal cascade down a stairwell. Available in Black or Brass hardware.

Faceted cone-and-point shade

A solid metal cone cap meets a tapered, faceted alabaster point at their widest edge, narrowing to a single tip below where the light glows out in a concentrated, warm spill.

Staggered cords, shared canopy

Each cone hangs on its own cord from a shared ceiling canopy. Trimming each cord to a different length at installation lets you gather the cluster close, spread it wider, or cascade it on a diagonal.

Six sizes, two finishes

Available as a 1-, 3-, 5-, 7-, 9-, or 12-light configuration, in Black or Brass hardware, to suit spaces of different scale.

Black

Brass

Metal cone cap and ceiling canopy in a warm brass finish.

1 Light — Φ11 × H30 cm

A single cone-and-point drop on a fixed 50 cm cord, suited to a bedside drop, powder room, or beside a mirror — or order two or three separately and space them yourself.

3 Lights — Canopy Φ15 cm

The tightest cluster, suited to a breakfast nook, small round table, or stair landing.

5 Lights — Canopy Φ20 cm

Our most chosen configuration — suited to a round dining table, entry hall, open stairwell, or kitchen island.

7 Lights — Canopy Φ30 cm

Suited to a larger dining table, double-height entry, or open-plan living room.

9 Lights — Canopy Φ35 cm

Suited to a stairwell void, two-story foyer, long dining table, or atrium.

12 Lights — Canopy Φ40 cm

Our grandest configuration, suited to a grand entry, three-story stairwell, hotel or restaurant, or banquet table.

Product Name Vertex Faceted Alabaster Drop Chandelier
Product Type Multi-Drop Alabaster Cone-and-Point Chandelier, Staggered Cords, 6 light-count options
Material Natural Alabaster (tapered, faceted point, hand-cut and hand-polished), Metal (cone cap and canopy, electroplated finish)
Finish Options Black or Brass; alabaster color and veining vary randomly per piece and cannot be specified
Size Options 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, or 12 lights (see Dimensions for canopy size per configuration)
Cord Length 150 cm / 59″ per cone (3- through 12-light clusters), trimmable on site to different lengths; single-light version on a fixed 50 cm / 19.7″ cord
Light Source G9 bulb (small two-pin capsule, not a screw base) — LED recommended over halogen since the bulb sits enclosed with little airflow
Color Temperature Not specified in the source; depends on the G9 bulb fitted
Power Max 40W per socket
Voltage AC 110–240V
Control Wall switch; dimmable only if every socket is fitted with a dimmable G9 bulb and paired with a compatible dimmer switch — standard bulbs do not dim
Included Bulb G9 bulbs are user-replaceable; whether bulbs are included with the fixture wasn't specified in the source
Mounting Ceiling, hardwired to a standard junction box; cords exit from fixed points on the canopy
Environment Indoor only
Suitable Spaces Stairwell, multi-story foyer or atrium, dining table, kitchen island, bedside

  • Mount to a secure ceiling junction box using hardware suitable for the fixture weight; installation is hardwired and should follow local electrical requirements.
  • On multi-light clusters, hang all cords at full length first, then shorten one at a time to set the final gathered, spread, or cascading pattern — cords exit from fixed points on the canopy and can't be repositioned.
  • Never lift a cone by its cord — it is not load-bearing, and tension on it can strain the socket wiring over time.
  • Always support each alabaster cone directly when moving or installing; for the larger, multi-light configurations, two people are strongly recommended.
  • Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives, which will dull the polished surface irreversibly.
  • Do not exceed the fixture's rated 40W per socket. LED G9 bulbs are recommended over halogen, since each bulb sits enclosed inside the stone point with little airflow and LED runs far cooler.
  • Natural alabaster will show variation in color and veining between units — this is expected and not a defect.
  • Disconnect power before changing a bulb or servicing the fixture.
  • Intended for indoor, dry use only.

What is the Vertex Chandelier made from?

A solid metal cone cap paired with a tapered, faceted natural alabaster point, meeting at their widest edge. Each cone hangs on its own cord from a shared canopy. Alabaster veining and color are unique to each piece and can't be specified in advance.

Can I gather, spread, or cascade the cluster?

Yes. On the 3- through 12-light versions, every cord ships at the same 150 cm / 59″ length; trimming each to a different length at installation lets you hold the cluster close and level, spread it wider, or let it fall on a diagonal, since the cords exit from fixed points on the shared canopy.

What sizes and finishes are available?

Six configurations by light count — 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, or 12 — in Black or Brass hardware, chosen independently of size.

Can I choose the alabaster color or pattern?

No — natural alabaster veining and color vary randomly from piece to piece, and a specific pattern or color cannot be requested.

What bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?

Each socket takes a G9 bulb — a small two-pin capsule, not a screw base — user-replaceable, max 40W. LED is recommended over halogen since the bulb sits enclosed with little airflow. It's dimmable only if every socket is fitted with a dimmable G9 bulb and paired with a compatible dimmer; standard bulbs won't dim.

What's the voltage rating?

The fixture is rated AC 110–240V, hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box, indoor use only.

How should I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth only — avoid water, solvents, and abrasives. Never lift a cone by its cord, and always support each alabaster cone directly when moving or installing it; two people are recommended for the larger, multi-light configurations. Intended for indoor, dry use only.

Know the Material

A stone that lets light through.

Alabaster is a soft, fine-grained mineral. Cut thin and polished, it turns light into an even, candle-warm glow — no glare, no hard edges.

  • i.

    Milk-white body

A soft, creamy white that warms the room, lit or unlit.

  • ii.

    Natural veining

Honey and grey veins that come alive when the lamp is lit.

  • iii.

    Smooth, cool surface

Hand-polished to a satin finish you can feel.

Variations in tone and veining are the signature of natural stone — not flaws. Your piece will be one of a kind.

One Stone, Many Characters

Choose your veining.

Alabaster comes from the earth in many moods — from clean milk-white to bold, dark veins. Pick the one that suits your room.

Natural stone varies from piece to piece — photos show the typical character of each texture.

Room by Room

Choose for the space.

Dining Room

Size the fixture to the table, not the room — a ring or linear globe pendant follows its shape and keeps light on the meal.

Hanging height: 30–36″ (76–91 cm) above the tabletop; fixture about ½–⅔ of the table width.

Living Room

The largest room takes the boldest piece — a ring or multi-globe chandelier scaled to the seating area.

Wall sconces: around 60–66″ (152–168 cm) from the floor to the centre of the shade.

Bedroom

Low ceilings and quiet evenings call for close-to-ceiling discs and small shades — the stone's glow is made for winding down.

Bedside sconces: 30–36″ (76–91 cm) above the mattress, 6–10″ outside the headboard edge.

Entryway

The first light guests see. A single globe pendant or a pair of sconces sets the tone at the door.

Clearance: keep at least 7 ft (213 cm) from floor to the bottom of the fixture; in two-storey foyers, hang it level with the upper window.

Size Guide

Find the right size.

Move the sliders to your room or table — we'll suggest a fixture size and hanging height.

These are designer rules of thumb. Every product page lists exact dimensions — or ask a designer to check your plan.
