A small amount of glue is applied at the metal interface of each ginkgo leaf to keep the brass accessories securely attached during transit and long-term use. You may notice slight glue residue on some leaves — this is a normal part of production for stability and safety. It does not affect the gingko chandelier's appearance or function and is not a quality defect.

The listed dimensions are the total span of the gingko chandelier including the leaves. The brass branches are flexible — gently fan out the outermost branches by hand and install all ginkgo leaves to reach the listed diameter. Measure tip-to-tip after fanning to confirm fit.

Why is there glue residue on some of the ginkgo leaves?
A small amount of glue is applied at the metal-leaf interface during production so the brass accessories stay securely attached through shipping and long-term use. Slight residue on some leaves is normal — it does not affect the gingko chandelier's appearance or function and is not a quality defect.
Why does the chandelier look smaller than the listed dimensions before install?
The listed diameter is the full span with branches fanned out and all leaves installed. The brass branches arrive compact for shipping safety. Fan the outermost branches out by hand and install every ginkgo leaf — then measure tip-to-tip for the actual span.
Which size Thalassa Gingko chandelier should I pick for my dining room?
Match the gingko chandelier diameter to roughly half the dining table width. 6-Lights (∅23.6") suits bedrooms or breakfast nooks; 8-Lights (∅31.5") fits a standard 6-seat dining room; 9-Lights adds a dramatic drop for two-story foyers; 12-Lights (∅38.6") suits large dining rooms, hotel lobbies, and stairwells. What bulb does the Thalassa Gingko chandelier use, and is it dimmable?
G9 bi-pin base — 6, 8, 9, or 12 bulbs depending on size. Warm White 2700-3000K LED G9 recommended for a warm brass glow over the dining room. Bulbs sold separately. The gingko chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer.
Can the rod be shortened or extended for taller ceilings?
The standard rod is 11.8" (6/8-light) or 19.7" (9/12-light). Your electrician can shorten the rod on install. For ceilings above 12 ft, request a longer rod extension before ordering with your ceiling height.

What ceiling height do I need?+
This chandelier fits 9–14 ft ceilings. The 6- and 8-light versions use an 11.8″ rod; the 9- and 12-light use a 19.7″ rod, extendable on request from our atelier for custom heights.
Can I customize the size or finish?+
