What is the wattage, and is it bright enough for dining?
The Silvara Fold uses a 31W integrated LED. The light is diffused through translucent mulberry silk, giving soft, glare-free downlight and ambient glow across large dining tables or kitchen islands.
What size dining table or kitchen island is this pendant designed for?
At L 63″ x H 13.8″ / L 160cm x H 35cm, it suits dining tables 72″ to 96″ long (6 to 8+ seats), standard or extended kitchen islands, and long desks. For balanced proportions, leave roughly 6″ to 12″ of table extending beyond each end of the fixture.
Can I dim this light, and what switch should I use?
Yes, when you order the dimmable version. It works with standard Triac (thyristor) wall dimmer switches; a link to recommended dimmers is shown above. The standard version uses a regular wall switch.
How do I clean the mulberry silk shade?
Use a clean lint roller, a dry feather duster, or a vacuum with a soft brush attachment on low suction. Do not use wet cloths, abrasive pads, or liquid cleaners, as moisture may stain or loosen the silk fibers.
Can this pendant be installed on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
Yes. The fixture hangs from two steel cables that can each be adjusted at the canopy, so the shade can be leveled even on angled, sloped, or vaulted ceilings.
