About natural alabaster
Each globe is hand-carved from natural alabaster, a translucent stone. Veining, cloudy banding, and slight color variation differ piece to piece, and the glow may look a touch uneven where the stone is denser — these are core characteristics of natural alabaster, not defects. No two globes are identical.

- Mount the backplate level so the stem reads true vertical and the globe sits plumb.
- The G9 bulb is included and replaceable at the top of the stem under the globe; a 2700K warm-white G9 LED gives the warmest glow through the stone.
- Dimmable with a compatible dimmable G9 bulb and a wall dimmer (not included).
- Alabaster is a natural translucent stone — veining, cloudy banding, and slightly uneven glow are core characteristics of the material, not flaws or damage. No two globes are identical.
- Indoor dry locations only (IP20); keep clear of direct water, as alabaster is porous and absorbs moisture.
Is the globe glass or stone?
Natural alabaster — a translucent stone, not glass. It glows warm when lit and shows soft veining and cloudy banding that glass can't replicate. Because it's natural stone, each globe is unique and the glow can look slightly uneven where the stone is denser; that's the character of alabaster, not a flaw.
Which finish should I choose?
All three use the same alabaster globe; only the metal changes. Brushed nickel is soft and cool for a quiet, modern look; matte black adds graphic contrast; brass brings warmth and a more classic feel. Email us if you'd like help matching it to your hardware.
What bulb does it use, is it included, and is it dimmable?
One G9 bulb, included. A 2700K warm-white G9 LED gives the warmest glow through the alabaster. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer (sold separately).
Can it be mounted facing up or down, and used in pairs?
It's designed globe-up as shown, with the stem hanging below — mount the backplate level for the cleanest line. It looks great as a single accent or in a symmetrical pair flanking a bed, mirror, or doorway.
Can I install it in a bathroom, and what's the warranty?
Only away from water — it's rated IP20 for indoor dry locations, so keep it clear of shower or tub spray. Alabaster is porous and absorbs moisture. 2-year warranty on the fixture and wiring; G9 bulbs are standard replaceable parts. Email support for help — we reply within one business day.
