The Alabaster Vertical Wall Sconce pairs a sleek vertical metal frame with genuine alabaster discs — each one translucent enough to reveal its own veining when lit from within. Natural alabaster — each piece is unique
Alabaster is a natural stone. Every disc has its own veining pattern, color tone, and degree of translucency — your piece will differ from the product photos. These variations are inherent to genuine alabaster and part of its organic character, not defects. The warm glow through the stone remains consistent regardless of the specific veining.

Dimmable version — TRIAC dimmer switch required
The dimmable version ships with an external driver. It requires a TRIAC (Thyristor) dimmer switch for smooth, flicker-free operation — standard rotary dimmers are not compatible. The non-dimmable version works with any common wall switch.

Will my alabaster look exactly like the product photos?
No two pieces of natural alabaster are identical. The veining pattern, color tone, and translucency will differ between discs and between units. These are inherent qualities of genuine stone — not defects. The warm glow through the alabaster remains consistent regardless of the specific pattern.
Is the dimmable version compatible with any wall dimmer?
No. The dimmable version requires a TRIAC (Thyristor) dimmer switch and includes an external driver. Standard rotary dimmers are not compatible and may cause flickering or damage the driver. The non-dimmable version works with any common wall switch.
What is the difference between Model A and Model B?
Model A features ∅20 cm discs across three heights (100, 120, 160 cm) and outputs ~10W. It is available in Gold or Black. Model B is available in three heights (120, 150, 180 cm) with disc sizes of ∅15 cm or ∅20 cm, outputs ~8W, and comes in Black only.
What color temperatures are available?
Two options are available at checkout: Warm Light (standard, non-dimmable, controlled via wall switch) and Triac Dimmable Warm Light (includes external TRIAC driver, requires a TRIAC dimmer switch). If you need a different color temperature such as 4000K neutral or 6000K cool, we can customize this — please contact us before ordering.
Can this sconce be installed in a bathroom?
It is suitable for flanking a bathroom mirror in a dry zone. It is not rated for wet zones (inside shower enclosures or directly above bathtubs). Consult your local electrical code for bathroom installation zone requirements.
Does it use replaceable bulbs?
No. The light source is an integrated LED module — there is no user-replaceable bulb or socket. No separate bulb purchase is needed.

What sizes are available?+
Model A: ∅7.9″ × H 39.4″, 47.2″, or 63″ in Gold or Black. Model B: ∅5.9″ × H 47.2″, ∅5.9″ × H 59.1″, or ∅7.9″ × H 70.9″ in Black only. Each alabaster disc is 15–20 cm diameter.
Will each sconce look the same as the photos?+
No. Every natural alabaster piece has unique veining patterns, color tones, and translucency. These variations are inherent to the stone—not defects—and add organic character. Warm glow remains consistent.
What's the power consumption and color temperature?+
Model A draws ~10W; Model B ~8W. Standard warm light available at checkout. Other color temperatures (e.g., 4000K neutral, 6000K cool) can be customized—contact Vakkerlight before ordering.
How is it installed?+
The sconce is hardwired to your wall. Installation guides and step-by-step video are available. Vakkerlight can customize placement or create bespoke heights—reach out to our atelier for special requests.
