Alabaster Dome Swag Pendant Lamp
The Alabaster Dome Swag Pendant is a plug-in pendant light — no hardwiring, no electrician, no junction box. A wide dome of natural Spanish alabaster (100% imported from Spain) hangs from a brass socket on a long 177.2″ (450 cm) cord that swags over a ceiling hook and plugs into any standard wall outlet, with an inline on/off switch on the cord. That means you can hang real stone light anywhere: over a dining nook, a reading chair, a bedside, a rental apartment corner — wherever there's an outlet. Two dome sizes are offered, Ø 30 cm and Ø 40 cm, each glowing edge to edge from the E26/E27 bulb inside.

- The stone dome weighs ~3.7 kg (Ø 30) or ~4.8 kg (Ø 40): use a ceiling hook anchored into a joist or an anchor rated well above that load — never drywall alone.
- Adjust the hanging height by repositioning the cord at the hook; excess cord swags neatly toward the wall.
- E26/E27 bulb installs from below. Bulb not included.
- Handle the alabaster dome with both hands and avoid impact — natural stone can chip.
- For indoor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms or damp locations.
Where does the alabaster come from?
The dome is carved from natural alabaster that is 100% imported from Spain — the same Spanish stone prized in fine lighting for its warm tone and translucency. It is genuine quarried stone, not resin or faux-alabaster glass.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
No — this is a plug-in swag pendant. Screw a ceiling hook into a joist or rated anchor, hang the cord, drape it to the nearest wall outlet, and plug in. The inline switch on the cord turns it on and off. It's ideal for rentals and rooms without a ceiling junction box.
Where can I use a swag pendant like this?
Anywhere with an outlet: over a dining nook or breakfast table, beside a reading chair, above a nightstand, in a home office corner, or in an apartment where hardwiring isn't allowed. The 177.2″ cord gives plenty of reach from hook to outlet.
Which size should I choose?
The Ø 30 cm dome suits bedsides, reading corners, and small nooks; the Ø 40 cm makes a stronger statement over a dining table or breakfast area, spreading a wider pool of warm task light.
What bulb does it use?
One standard E26 or E27 base bulb, not included. A warm white LED (2700–3000K) brings out the honey veining in the stone and keeps the dome cool to the touch.
Why does my pendant look different from the product photos?
The dome is natural Spanish stone, so veining and tone vary from piece to piece. No two pendants are exactly alike — this is the character of real alabaster, not a defect.
