The Ovella Travertine Pebble Wall Sconce sets a soft opal glass globe into a natural travertine plate shaped like a smooth river pebble. The stone's open pores and warm beige tone frame the globe, which takes a single G9 bulb. It comes in two sizes: Small at 6.3″ x 9.8″ and Large at 9.1″ x 13.8″.
If you have any questions about our products, please get in touch with us at info@vakkerlighting.com and we will reply to you within 24 hours.
Natural travertine pebble
A rounded plate of real travertine, with the stone's natural pores and tone on show.
Opal glass globe
The milky glass hides the bulb and spreads a soft, even glow across the stone.

Travertine is a natural stone. Each piece has its own pores, veining, and tone, so no two sconces look exactly alike. These variations are not defects.
- Turn off power at the breaker before installing. A licensed electrician is recommended.
- Fix the mounting bracket securely, as the stone is heavy: 2.6 lb / 1.2 kg for Small and 4.4 lb / 2 kg for Large.
- Dust the stone and globe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning sprays on the travertine.
- Let the bulb cool before removing the globe or changing the bulb.
What sizes does the Ovella sconce come in?
Small: W 6.3″ x H 9.8″ x Projection 5.1″ / W 16cm x H 25cm x Projection 13cm. Large: W 9.1″ x H 13.8″ x Projection 5.9″ / W 23cm x H 35cm x Projection 15cm.
Which size should I choose?
Small suits bedsides, narrow hallways, and pairs beside a mirror. Large makes more of a statement on a living room wall, in an entryway, or along a staircase.
What bulb does it use?
One G9 bulb. G9 is a small two-pin bulb, not a standard screw-in base, so choose G9 bulbs for replacements. A warm 3000K bulb brings out the stone's beige tone.
Does it plug in, or does it need to be hardwired?
It is hardwired to a standard junction box and controlled by a wall switch, with no plug or cord. Because the stone is heavy, we recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
Is there a matching ceiling light?
Yes. The Ovella Travertine Pebble Ceiling Light uses the same travertine plate and opal glass globe, also in Small and Large.
How do I clean the travertine?
Dust it with a soft, dry cloth. Travertine is porous, so keep water, oils, and cleaning sprays away from the stone.
