Spar Floor Lamp
A slim black metal frame leans diagonally from a flat round base, with a second support bar forming a triangular silhouette like a sailboat spar. A small black cylindrical shade hangs from the cantilevered end, holding the bulb angled outward over the room. A bright red electrical cable runs the full length from the shade down to the floor — turning the wiring itself into the lamp's strongest visual accent. The red cable is intentional
The bright red cable is a design feature, not a wiring error. It runs along the frame from the shade down to the base and out to your wall outlet, contrasting against the black frame as the lamp's strongest accent. Cable color is not customizable.

Plugs into any standard wall outlet with the 59.1″ (150 cm) red cable. An inline push-button switch on the cord turns it on and off. No hardwiring, no junction box.

Why is the cable red?
The red cable is part of the lamp's design language. The black metal frame is intentionally pared back to a single triangular line, and the red cable is left visible — running from the shade down through the frame to the floor — as a deliberate graphic accent against the black. It's the same approach used in industrial and Scandinavian design where exposed structure becomes the visual feature. The cable color is fixed at manufacture and not interchangeable.
What style does this work with?
Scandinavian, industrial, minimalist, and contemporary loft interiors. The Spar works alongside reading chairs, beside long sofas, in corners of open-plan living rooms, in design studios, and in lofts where exposed structure (concrete, brick, steel) is part of the architecture. The high-contrast black-and-red graphic reads strongest against neutral or white walls.
What bulb works best?
A candle-form LED bulb (E14, the small European screw base), 4–6W, 2700K warm white. Frosted bulbs work well behind the small black shade — they soften the directional cast over your reading chair or sofa. LED is preferred over halogen for cooler running temperatures. Bulb not included.
