The Blocavelle Alabaster Block Spiral Chandelier hangs blocks of natural alabaster from one black ceiling canopy, each on its own cord set to its own length, so the shades spiral down through the space. Made for stairwells and tall entries — where one junction box has to light two storeys — each block is capped with a threaded brass collar and glows evenly with its veining on full display. Choose from 1 to 11 lights.

Unique & Natural Variation: Each block is cut from natural alabaster, so veining, tone and small marks differ from piece to piece. No two blocks in a spiral look alike — part of the stone's character, not a defect.

Custom Veining Request: Prefer heavily veined or clean, minimal stone? Email info@vakkerlight.com before ordering or right after checkout, and we will photograph the available stone for your approval before dispatch.

If you have any questions about our products, please contact us and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Sizing & questions

Here is what most clients ask before choosing theirs.

Which size do I need?

3 lights suit a dining table or island; 5 lights a single-flight stairwell; 7 to 11 lights a two-storey stairwell, double-height entry or atrium. The size table lists the ceiling height and weight of each size.

How heavy is it?

From 1.25 kg (2.8 lb) for a single light up to 15.95 kg (35.2 lb) for 11 lights. Make sure your ceiling and junction box can support the weight.

Can the cords be lengthened?

Cords can be shortened on site to set the spiral, but not lengthened. If you need a longer drop, email info@vakkerlight.com with your ceiling height before your order ships.

Will the alabaster look like the photos?

Not exactly. Alabaster is a natural stone, so veining, tone and small marks vary from block to block. These natural differences are part of its character, not defects.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Not recommended for bathrooms. Alabaster is soft and porous and can absorb moisture and steam. Dust the blocks with a soft, dry cloth and keep water and sprays off the stone.

Real customer stories

★★★★★
They noticed that I'd mistakenly chosen the wrong kind of plug, and let me know by email immediately. I responded and was assured they'd made the correction. In an environment where customers often feel angry and frustrated, this is a different kind of customer service! I look forward to receiving my lamp!
