The Orbis Quartet Ceiling Lamp is a 4-light linear ceiling lamp with cream-white (or amber) ribbed glass globes suspended from a brushed brass bar with walnut wood accent spheres. Available in 4 globe styles × 2 lengths (35.4" or 47.2") — 8 configurations in total — for dining tables, kitchen islands, breakfast bars, hallways, and low-ceiling living rooms with 8 to 11 ft ceilings. E26 (US/CA) standard medium base bulbs, hardwired semi-flush mount.
Brass Bar + Walnut + Ribbed Glass
Brushed brass bar paired with walnut wood spheres holds 4 ribbed glass globes.

- Hardwired ceiling install — use a licensed electrician.

- E26 (US/CA) Warm LED bulb recommended — max 40W per socket.
- Mount on a flat ceiling — not designed for sloped or vaulted ceilings.
Which length and globe style should I pick for my dining table or kitchen island?
Match the bar length to roughly 2/3 the length of the dining table or kitchen island. L 35.4" (90 cm) suits 4-seat dining tables and breakfast bars; L 47.2" (120 cm) suits 6-seat dining tables and standard kitchen islands. For globe style, pick Style A (compact, H 7.1") or Style B (small, H 7.9") for low ceilings 8-9 ft; Style C (medium) for 9-10 ft; Style D (full globe, H 10.2") for 10-11 ft ceilings where the fuller glass reads better at distance.
What's the difference between the 4 globe styles (A, B, C, D)?
The 4 styles share the same brass bar + walnut accent + ribbed glass design — the difference is globe shape and height. Style A (H 7.1") is the most compact, almost flush — best for low ceilings and a minimal look. Style B (H 7.9") slightly taller, balanced for most rooms. Style C (H 9.1") medium globe with more presence. Style D (H 10.2") the fullest globe — most statement-making, best for taller ceilings. Compare the photos above to see the proportional differences.
White or amber glass — which shade to pick?
Both options use the same ribbed glass form. White is the most versatile — it diffuses light evenly and works in modern, transitional, and Scandinavian interiors. Amber casts a warmer, mid-century glow and reads with more vintage character — pair with walnut furniture, brass hardware, or moody dining rooms. Specify White or Amber at order time.
What bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?
Four E26 standard medium base sockets for US/Canada (E27 for EU/Australia) — the most common bulb socket in US homes. Max 40W per socket. Warm White 2700-3000K LED recommended. Edison-style filament bulbs also work for a vintage look. Bulbs sold separately. The ceiling lamp is dimmable when paired with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer.
Can the Orbis Quartet install on a low 8-ft ceiling?
Yes — this is the strong use case for the Orbis Quartet ceiling lamp. The fixture is semi-flush mounted (short drop, no long rod or cable), so the total drop is just 7.1" to 10.2" depending on globe style. For a standard 8-ft ceiling, pick Style A or B (H 7.1" or 7.9"). Always confirm at least 7 ft of headroom under the lowest point of the fixture. Note: the lamp is for flat ceilings only — sloped or vaulted ceilings are not supported.
If it is a product quality problem or transportation damage, we will provide free return and exchange services, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our customers.
